I just heard the lady that called in and said that she eats pancakes with peanut butter then maple syrup. Well my family does it all the time we don't eat pancakes without the peanut butter on the table. I also like pancakes with ice cream and blueberrys, strawberrys or rasberrys!
Kelli, you've got to try pancakes with peanut butter. Thank you K-Love for all you do!!!

I'm in the Bay Area listening and heard your pancake question. I know it sounds weird but we actually put ricotta cheese in our pancake mixture along with vanilla & cinnamon.
Love you K-Love and so blessed to have you all.

Just heard you asking about unusual sweet/salty combinations....

Well, my very favorite snack to have at the movie theatre is butter popcorn with Hot Tamales candies. I take a bite of popcorn in my hand and grab a candy before eating it! It's delicious! Sweet, salty, and cinnamony all at once!

Well - here's one you probably never heard of, but I can't eat pancakes any other way!! We make what's called "creamed tomatoes" and pour them over top - - - - Yum!!!! Diced tomatoes, butter, salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar and a spoonful or two of your pancake batter.

Not just peanut butter and maple syrup, but put some sliced canned peaches on top of the peanut butter first, and you have the BEST breakfast ever. Even better on waffles!!

I like my pancakes with butter and over easy eggs on top with a sprinkle of salt. When you cut the eggs & pancakes, the yolk spreads & seeps into the pancakes. One pancake per egg is best. I like two pancakes/2 eggs. It is so good. With a cup of coffee w/cream. Mmmmmmmm.

Two of my favorite pancakes are German pancakes that are baked after they're fried on one side; they puff up like a popover. The other one is sweet potato. I guess I like the sweet potato because they seem more healthy. Love them both with maple syrup.

It's funny that you are talking about pancakes, because at this moment my husband is cooking pancakes for us for dinner. It has become a tradition to have pancakes every Tuesday evening. He makes the best pancakes with whole wheat flour, and his secret ingredients. Anyway, we love to eat our pancakes with peanut butter, maple syrup or peanut butter/jelly, or peanut butter, syrup and bananas (my favorite). My husband loves to use almond butter instead of peanut butter. We also use them for sandwiches the next day. Happy pancakes!

My mom was really into making pictures out of food when I was growing up. Whenever we had pancakes, she would use blueberries for the eyes, whip cream (from a can) for the hair, an orange slice for the mouth, and an apple slice (cut into an L) for the nose. Then from there, she would drizzle real maple syrup on top. Every once in a while, if there were extra apple slices, she would make a stick body out of them. Needless to say, growing up, eating fruits and vegetables were never a problem. I have a 5 year old, and let's just say that he also enjoys fruits and vegetables for a very good reason. Smile

I dared them (knowing that young boys can't pass up a dare Smile to try the peanut butter and hot maple syrup. I got a letter from my friends...thanks a lot - now the boys won't eat pancakes without peanut butter! Yummy!

I love what is called a swedish pancake. It is made with flour, egg, milk, and sugar. Very thin pancakes, you roll them up and top them with linginberries, melted butter and powdered sugar. So positively awesome. The one's at the Ihop don't even compare to the homemade ones that I make.

When my great grandpa comes over from Pennsylvania to our family in Lincoln, Nebraska, he makes pancakes with hamburger gravy... it might sound a little unappetizing but it is very delicious! I usually don't have many pancakes in a meal but I have 2-3 times as much when he's over! They're addicting!!!

I like pancakes with butter and maple syrup. One story, when I was on vacation with my family (I was about 10 or 11 yrs old at the time),we had pancakes at the hotel that we were staying at. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes(about 3)and finished eating those. THEN, I asked the waitress if I could order a bowl of cereal. I was one hungry and growing kid Smile My parents were pretty amazed at how large my appetite was that day. I think I finished off the bowl of cereal as well.

I have a special way I like to make pancakes. But I can only make them for a short time each year. Instead of making my pancakes with the usual milk, I love to make mine with Egg Nog instead. I've always loved the Egg Nog lattes from Starbucks. I was inspired by the yummy drink to try it in my pancakes. It was delicious. Smothered in butter and syrup...they rock! But since Egg Nog is only available at Christmas time, I only get to enjoy them for a short time each year! Makes them all the more special!

What a coincdience! My husband, Jerry, proposed last May at Duke Gardens. I, tearfully, accepted. Afterwards, we celebrated at IHOP. We told them how Jerry had just proposed and they came out with icecream and sang "Happy engagment from IHOP to you. We hope you have a great life together the two of you. HEY!" It was so sweet!

Our favorite pancakes are HOOTY CREEK pancakes. (Add craisins and white chocolate chips to your favorite pancake batter) and be sure to coat the pan in real butter, no sprays for these! We make these only for special occasions at our house and we tend to try to come up with special occasions as much as possible!

Blessings to all!

Not long after I got married to my wife of five years, she introduced me to chocolate chip pancakes with peanut butter spread between each layer. Then banana (cut cross-section) slices added between one or two layers. I settled on that sans bananas, but added maple syrup to the stack!

I heard of the free pancakes driving home last night while enjoying Klove. I pitched the idea to my boys, really my three year old. He screamed YES! I told him to go get some long pants on (no matter how cold it gets in KC the boy likes to wear shorts inside) so we could leave. He asked why are we leaving? I said to get pancakes, He said, But daddy I want your pancakes, I don't want to eat anyone else's. So with that it was decided it was time for Brinner (breakfast for dinner) and pancakes for all. And most likely the gas I saved was offset by cooking at home.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like 'Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of "neighbors" will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune "Social" is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose. star trek dvds
