Associate News Producer - Weekend

The Weekend Associate News Producer will provide local information needed to cover an emergency type situation occurring in any EMF market. The Weekend Associate News Producer will also be charged with helping to produce K-LOVE and Air 1 branded public affairs assignments in a timely, fresh and professional manner. In addition, this position performs Newsroom administration to include, but not limited to, administration of News pages on respective websites and completion of other Newsroom assignments.

Required Qualifications :

• Minimum of 1-3 years of recent experience in the Radio News Industry.
• Demonstrated ability to creatively edit & produce public affairs programming and news segments.
• Demonstrated ability to research public affairs assignment topics, conduct interviews, and assemble into program segments.
• Demonstrated flexibility and ability to keep pace in an ever changing news environment.
• Strong computer skills; and other desktop audio editors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build trust and value others, communicate effectively, focus on the listener, and collaborate with others.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively.
• High level of integrity.

Required Education:   BS/BA in Broadcasting, or equivalent experience

Hours Of Work:    This is a Part-Time position that includes, one 6-hour shift on Saturday, and one 6-hour shift on Sunday. Shift hours will rotate from week to week.

Promotions Assistant - Phoenix, AZ

Position Summary:

The Promotions Assistant for Phoenix will provide administrative & promotional support to the Promotions Team, as well as represent K-LOVE and Air 1 (depending on the region). The Promotions Assistant is charged with day to day office organization, providing administrative support to the promotions teams, volunteer coordination, in addition to assistance with promotional events and preparations including scheduling; promotional inventory; sponsor agreements; community calendar; communication pieces; and attendance of events.

Required Qualifications :

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing, public relations, event planning/coordination, volunteer coordination or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of administrative or general office management experience.
• Prior volunteer coordination experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, attention to detail and administrative skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships
• Good people skills w/excellent communication & presentation skills
• Strong computer skills; advance knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently; establishing and meeting performance/ministry goals
• Relocation assistance and interview assistance is not budgeted for this position, so our preference is for candidates currently residing in this area.

Hours Of Work:

• Typically the hours would be regular business hours, however, hours may vary week to week depending on event needs. Often, evening and/or weekend work may be required. So someone who is flexible in regards to their schedule would be preferred.
• This position may require some travel.

Regional Representative - San Antonio, TX

We currently have an opening for a Regional Representative for our Texas region. The Regional Representative is responsible for managing a list of current major donors in a defined geographic region. The RR is expected to minister to the needs of the donors and identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward these very important ministry partners for EMF Broadcasting. The RR will also be cultivating their contact list to network outside of their given lists to develop new potential donor partners.

Qualified candidates will have the following experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of successful experience in major gift fundraising
• High energy professional with a proven track record of building donor relationships and closing gifts.
• Demonstrated ability to understand the needs and interests of major gift donors in order to develop relationships between them and EMF
• Demonstrated and sincere interest in all aspects of EMF’s ministry and a dedication to promoting the fundraising priorities through developing excellent relationships with others throughout the organization
• Demonstrated leadership and the ability to successfully manage multi-functional or diverse areas
• Successful experience in developing in depth cultivation and solicitation strategies
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of completing assignments.
• Strong commitment to uphold and support EMF’s Mission, Statement of Faith and Standards of Conduct.
• Candidates currently residing in this area are preferred.

Educational Requirements : Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent work experience in related field

Job Travel Requirements : An average of 10 days per month is expected.
