Field Engineer I - Central Region (AR & LA)
Our Field Engineers are the first line of defense when maintaining our radio networks. They make sure that we are on-air and transmitting at the best possible quality. We have a huge responsibility to our listeners, broadcasting 24/7, 365 days/year, and our Field Engineers do not take this responsibility lightly. In addition to maintaining our existing signals, they are also involved with some pretty cool signal expansion projects!
This position is a part of a national engineering team that has been blessed with technical resources unequal to many broadcasting companies in our country!
Qualification/Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 2+ years experience troubleshooting and repairing failures in broadcast electronic equipment – trouble shooting audio & RF issues in a radio transmission system.
- Thorough understanding of the components necessary in a broadcast air-chain
- Ability to carry out calculations in common broadcast-related formula such as transmitter efficiency, transmitter power output, wavelengths, and antenna system gain
- Ability to solder and desolder electronic components without causing damage to the components or PC board .
- Knowledge of applicable, broadcast-related FCC rules and regulations.
- Proficiency with standard broadcast test equipment, such as VOMs, oscilloscopes, and RF spectrum analyzers.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of integrity.
- Strong computer skills with to include MS Office products and other common software (Internet browsers, etc.)

Regional Audio Producer
Our Creative Services team is currently looking for a Regional Audio Producer to assist the ministry by creating audio production and writing copy for both internal and external use. What do you need to qualify for this position?

Minimum of 5 years of digital multi-track audio production experience (Preferably within the radio industry.)

This position is responsible for managing a list of current major donors within the Chicagoland area. We are looking for someone who is project and results driven, relational, and highly strategic – while also willing and able to roll up their sleeves and complete the “nuts and bolts” of HR. We need an experienced HR Professional to join our HR Team who will partner with our leaders and team members with faith, passion, and collaboration, while having fun along the way.
The Sr. HR Generalist is responsible for initiating, leading, and completing HR strategic projects, serving as a first point of contact for HR related questions or concerns, and is responsible for HR services such as recruitment, benefits, performance management, compensation programs, training and development, employee relations, and compliance.

A few additional requirements of the job are:

Minimum 10 years’ experience in Human Resources, SPHR highly desired

Demonstrated passion for our mission and values

Experience developing and implementing strategic HR programs and initiatives from scratch to delivery required. Example of HR programs may be recruitment initiatives, performance systems, training and development, compensation, etc.

Strong project management and leadership skills with the ability to manage and implement multiple projects concurrently.

Experience and proven ability to successfully manage and coach through complex employee relation issues

Excellent understanding of State and Federal labor laws

Previous experience with recruitment and retention practices including use of creative and social media sourcing, candidate management, pre-employment screening, exit interview programs, employee referral programs, and HR metrics

A collaborative and flexible style, with strong service mentality. Need to be seen as a team player

Experience within a multi-state environment and 300+ staff. Ministry experience preferred

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Sr. Web Designer/Developer

We're looking for a Senior Web Designer/Developer to create and manage our websites, K-LOVE and Air1 web pages, emails and other online marketing content. You will have the creative latitude to design and build user interface elements, graphics, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/AJAX, JQuery, and will be challenged with formatting content for the optimum user experience.
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our headquarters in Rocklin, CA.
Here's what we're looking for...
- At least 3+ years of professional experience designing, coding and maintaining dynamic websites.
- Solid UI/UX experience with a passion & gift for creating a user experience that is engaging, yet beautiful in it's simplicity.
- Excellent presentation layer development skills Strong layout skills and web asset design (CTAs, Promo/Content units, Ads/Banners, etc)
- Solid knowledge of the constraints of online design; research and explore best practices in interactive design.
- Experience optimizing images for web user interface and creating HTML5, CSS3 that matches a Photoshop design layout and understanding how mockups translate to code.
- Experience creating responsive websites that are able to present content on a wide variety of devices, from phone to tablet to desktop.
- A creative and resourceful problem-solving mindset, with a proven ability to create design work that is clear, clean, vibrant, and meets business requirements.
- Strong skills using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to build reusable HTML templates from scratch and ability to do so with plain text editors as well as complex editors like Adobe Dreamweaver
- Strong ability to review, understand, and reuse existing code base
- Knowledge and experience working with content management systems as well as the ability to code from scratch
- Coding style should be evolved to where your code is modular and very reusable Understanding of Cross-Compatibility.
- Ability to develop web pages so that pages are 'pixel perfect' in all major browsers.
- IE7 bug and remedies expertise. Web browser, SEO, and 508/WCAG accessibility expertise
- Ability to provide expert direction to content managers
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent time management skills to handle and prioritize multiple projects.
- Must be flexible and open to critique
- Creative lifecycle experience, from concept to production of functional creative.
- Fundamental graphic design knowledge – typography, color theory, grids, hierarchy, kerning, etc.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent
