Talking To Naghmeh

We were able to speak in depth with Naghmeh Abedini. She is the wife of Saeed, a U.S. Pastor who is imprisoned in Iran for his faith in Christ. An online petition has been created in attempts to cut his sentence down from the original 8 years.

If you missed the show, you can hear the full interview below.

An Encouraging Story From This Week

We took a call this week from a Police Officer whose everyday job is affected by listening to K-LOVE.

We love hearing how listeners' days are changed by hearing a song on the air. In this case, a simple song puts this man in the right mindset for whatever situation is ahead of him.

You can hear more inspiring stories every morning, Monday - Friday at 7:45 CT.

A Lesson From Mister Rogers

It 45 years ago this week that we were first introduced to Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. This childhood classic was brought to us in 1968, when Fred Rogers decided to make a change to children's programming.

At that time, Fred "hated" everything that television had to offer. He felt that there should be a show that focused on boosting self-esteem, so he made it happen.

Is there something out there that you aren't happy with, something that needs a change? Chances are, you might be the one to make those changes. - Amy
