Make a Difference Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday....EVERYDAY!

Every Monday we encourage you to "Go MAD" - Make a difference in someone's life.

Today, you can know that you are doing something to make a difference, by supporting K-LOVE.  You can know that K-LOVE stays on the air and stays strong because of your involvement.  Every day – whether you listen that day or not, you can know you’re making a difference in someone’s life.

Here is just one story of how YOU are making a difference in the life of one K-LOVE listener:

"....Over the last 4 years. I have lost both of my parents. My marriage is broken and I have 6 beautiful kids. Inside I feel so broken and bruised. At times I feel like I can't go on anymore. But I look at my kids and I turn K-LOVE on and I just keep going. I'm a stay at home mom. And I feel like God is so far off at times, but really he is right here next to me. Praise God for all of you at K-LOVE and Thank you to all the supports who help minister to people like me!!" ~ April

Each month when you support K-LOVE....you can know that you are making a difference in April's life!

Stand Up for the Have Nots!

Isaiah 61:1

“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners …”

Not everyone is called to support K-LOVE.  And, not everyone has the financial means to support K-LOVE.  But for those who are called and have the means – how about “standing up for the have nots” ... the widows, the single parents, the person who has lost their job, the college student ...here are some stories of those who are touched by YOUR support:

"I am a struggling Christian, a single mom trying to raise my children to be stronger in God's word than they're mom. I listen every day at work and am so grateful for K-love bringing God's word into my home. It takes a community to raise a child, I thank God every day he gave me you as part of my "community." ~ God Bless, Tanya

"I am a widow of two years and about a year after my husband went to be with the Lord I got back into church and am very faithful and active in my church. This is when I started listening to K-Love. I love the songs that you play. They are uplifting and they are songs of praise to our Lord. The company I work for is not real stable now because of the economic times and I don't know how long we can stay open. Please pray that we will overcome the bad times and come out on the other side. Please pray for me to because right now I am feeling alone, scared because of my job, and need God to hold me up. I know he will but prayer in numbers is more powerful. Thank you for your prayer. God is doing great things in my life and my prayer for you is that K-Love sings on in our daily life. Our God is an awesome God. Without him we cannot survive. May God's blessings be abundant in your lives."  ~ Marilyn

What If You Weren't Afraid?

“Don’t be troubled. You trust God, now trust in me…. I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.” (John 14:1-3 NLT)

Like Laura's story......is fear stopping you from something?

Is fear preventing you from supporting K-LOVE?

Maybe your fear is from something out of your control and you can relate to Sharon's story:

"I am currently giving $20 (tho I only pledged for $10). My husband left me last year with only $100 in the bank. I cried and listened to K-Love when I was most lonely, frightened, and anxious.  K-Love comforted me when no one else was around. I now have a new job which will pay more and so I would like to add to my current donation to make it $40 a month. Thank you, K-Love for giving me courage when I was scared and pointing me to God for all my problems and issues. Please continue to pray for me and my ex-husband who is not a Christian."

What would you do if you weren't afraid?
