Healthy snacking with Christine Avanti

Knock Down The Munchies With These Super Snacks

Have you gotten addicted to Angry Birds? How great is it to knock down those structures? Today were going to use the angry birds (a game ap for the ipad) and other snacks to knock down the munchies.

1) Light babybel cheese (50 cal, 6gm protein) - this tasty protein is a perfect pairing for a little fruit or veggies. Dress them up like angry birds and they are no less addictive than the mega-hit video game.

2) Popchips (100 cal, 3 gm fat)- the inescapable but tasty new potato chip that makes it hip to be healthy. If you still haven't tried Popchips you really should because they are the best healthy chips ever.

3) Wrigley's Extra Dessert Delights! Brand new dessert flavors such as Key Lime Pie, Strawberry Shortcake, and Mint Chocolate Chip will satisfy tastebuds without the additional 1000 calories of a big dessert. Actually these new flavors are zero-calories - which would you rather have 1000 calories or zero calories? Try these, you'll love 'em.

4) Kind bars (190 calories) - these really are too delicious to be legal- and they help stabilize blood sugar. They are natural, filling - and kind!
