Making Life Simple, WTC App & Hurricane Update

I live in Myrtle Beach, SC and Hurricane Irene is currently going along our coast. We have been praying that it just stays on the coast and doesn't turn onto us! Right now we just have alot of heavy rain and very strong winds! Praying for those who its going to be hitting soon! We are getting the worse of it tonight! Please keep keeping everyone in your prayers!

Psalm 91 is ALL they need!
There is a book out that I just finished reading by Peggy Joyce Ruth that everyone should read.  It is full of testimonies about the power of this scripture about God's promises of protection.  He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  Our God is amazing!
2: I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3: Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4: He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5: Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6: Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7: A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8: Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9: Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10: There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11: For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12: They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13: Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

15: He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

Just follow, and he will lead, beleive he is GOD, but don't be afraid, he will protect you, all you have to do is pray and he will answer.

I rededicated my life to God on the 22nd. I've been listening to klove basically all day everyday. At home and in the car. It's been such a blessing to be able to listen to all the praise worthy songs and sing along with them. My 4 year old daughter sings along too - PRAISE GOD! We recently found a church home too. God has already started using me to do His work. I've been speaking with my mother and sharing the word. She now is listening to klove. And after probably at least 22 years of being away from God and a church she has promised to go on sunday! Thank you for this amazing ministry you have seen me through so many rough times. I've been listening for 6 years now! God Bless you all!!!

I don't think it's right to call it a "non-issue" when people died and LOTS of property damage.  I do agree that it just seems after Katrina and the tsunami, everything is suddenly a potential NATIONAL DISASTER and most news media are over-reacting in order to get ratings.  they sensationalize... but I just think we can't go too far the other way and call it a "non-issue".
