New Man

If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, grief, or doubt about whether or not God can really help them, here is something you should see.

Check out this official video of the new song, "New Man" from the group, All Things New. It's about how God can restore a broken and hopeless situation, IF you let Him.

Shoes for Orphan Souls

If you have a stack of shoes by your back door, consider yourself one of the most fortunate people in the world.

I was shocked yesterday when I heard about how many children around walk around barefoot. There are 143 million orphans around the world, many of which don’t have a pair of shoes.

I immediately felt guilty. Right now sitting outside the door to my garage are probably 6 pairs of shoes for my children. They are rain boots, baseball shoes, Toms, Crocs, and flip-flops.

I never realized how grateful I should be for being able to provide the right shoes for my 3 children.

For my kids, shoes aren’t a necessity; they see them as a fashion statement. My daughter’s shoes are adorned with glitter, my son’s with Super heroes.

But, for Orphans, having a pair of shoes means they won’t get life threatening diseases by walking around barefoot. It also means they will be allowed to walk into the doors of a school. It means health, education, and a life that we take for granted every day.

If this breaks your heart like it does mine, here’s something you can do about it:

When you make a $40/EZ Gift to K-LOVE during the Spring Pledge Drive a generous donor will provide a brand new pair of shoes for an Orphan.

It’s through a ministry called “Shoes for Orphan Souls”. They serve 2.5 million children in 74 countries, including the US.

This is more then supporting K-LOVE, it’s more than helping an Orphan, it’s providing hope.

“Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.” –James 1:27 NLT
