Confession Time

"It’s the hardest thing to give away especially to those who don’t deserve."   -"Forgiveness" from Matthew West.

So there’s a guy in the news today that you might think falls into that “don’t deserve” category,  Lance Armstrong.

Apparently he has now admitted to “doping” to Oprah in an interview. We can all relate to doing something wrong, and you just can’t get away from it it.

I don't know about you, but I'm thankful I don't have to confess my sins on national television to Oprah, I do have to face God.  Thankfully he always forgives, loves me anyway, and doesn't even remember the mistake after I'm forgiven.  The Bible says he casts your sins as far apart as the east is from the west.  (Psalm 103:12)

When you think about it, if we’re going to live like Jesus, we should all be in the forgiveness business.

Whether it's Lance Armstrong, your loved ones, or yourself…

Turning Heartache into Hope.

We all experience loss, heartache, and disappointment.  It's how you move on that matters.

There's an artist you hear on K-LOVE that is a living example of how it is possible to experience heartache, find hope, and share it with others.  He is now helping families that have experienced a similar loss move forward too.

Steven Curtis Chapman lost a daughter in a tragic accident several years ago. I can't imagine a better person to be there  tonight along with his wife, Mary Beth, performing and speaking for the  Night of Hope and Healing for families that have lost their children in Newtown Connecticut.

They get. They've been there.  They are moving forward.

They will be front and center tonight along with Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, TobyMac, Laura Story, Building 429, and Mandisa.  Speaking with Mary Beth, will be Louie Giglio and Max Lucado.

You can see the whole thing live online at www.klove.com.  It starts at 6:30pm EST.

It might even help you move forward with God after experiencing loss in your life...
