Best Advice for Graduates

This is HANDS DOWN the best piece of advice I've ever heard given to graduates.  It's applies to every single one of us.  If you want your life to be more productive, try this every morning:

"If you make your bed every morning you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride and it will encourage you to do another task and another and another.

By the end of the day, that one task completed will have turned into many tasks completed. Making yourbed will also reinforce the fact that little things in life matter.

If you can't do the little things right, you will never do the big things right.

And, if by chance you have a miserable day, you will come home to a bed that is made—that you made—and a made bed gives you encouragement that tomorrow will be better.

If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed."

-U.S. Navy SEAL William H. McRaven to the graduating class of the University of Texas.

BOLD Prayer

Father, today help us to be BOLD. We don't allow our prayers to be big enough. Maybe we're scared or embarrassed to ask for what we REALLY need and want. But, you know it all anyway Lord.

So today, we pray the BIG prayer. God, we want to dream and do the things You have created for us to do. What is it God? We are here, Your willing servant, submitting to You knowing that Your plan is bigger and better than our own.

Give us the guts to keep asking for what You want in our lives, and give us the courage to actually do it! -In Jesus' name, Amen.
