Amanda Carroll "Drifting" by K-LOVE Radio
I don’t know about you, but this week’s free download at klove.com, Plumb’s new song, “Drifting”, really resonates with me. Especially if you feel like you are stuck or unsure of your future. Not sure where to go next or where to turn. The lyrics are found here.
"You might be drifting
And can't find the shore,
So Hopeless
And all alone.
The waves are crashing
All around you.
Just when you've lost the will to live
You see the sun.
I am hurt and nearly drown.
Open up your eyes.
I cry for help. You turn around."
It’s such a deep visual. You can literally see yourself in a canoe in a raging river not knowing what to do, where to go or how to get out.
Just like you face a daunting problem or stressful situation in life. If you just find the strength to ask for help. That’s really all it takes. To say, “God, I don’t know what to do here, I need your help to guide me.”
Loved the analogy today from a listener, Rose. She actually has a blog I love at http://rospiration.blogspot.com.
Time to let go of your paddle, and let God do the steering.
