Memorial Day 2012

You might have some big plans for Memorial Day Weekend…headed to the beach or a barbecue…

I’m trying to come up with some plans…but also trying to figure out a way to explain the day to my kids, the real reason why they have a day off of school.

You know we used to live just outside of Washington D.C.  And I remember driving into the city, for parades, to a museum, or to pick up family at the airport, and on the way we would pass the Pentagon, pass by Arlington National Cemetary, and I’m embarrassed to say it became normal to drive by a sea of white crosses, like we were passing the mall. 

I wish I could back and now and every time we drove by explain to the kids that it was because of those white crosses, each life, sacrificed for their freedom.

Even though every male in my family has served their country through military service; none have died in any recent wars. But they are gone just the same. This Memorial day I am going to honor my father mother and little brother as their lives all ended early. And I appreciate the sacrifice they made in making me a better person. Thanks Mom, Dad, and Lil Bro, I hope to see you soon.

I read your reality and find .what a blessing it is to love the same will of God ...theres seen and unseen heros men weman yet even children and for me i find time to go over all thats been wronged in light of this day ...we will honor all that stood for the country in wich they still stand today for .lets not miss that the stood for God then  a country theres a chatter in heaven no dought that is known by every soul that belongs to jesus christ.they would want us to no no about you cant fill the gap with your life and hope all see the truth in proper depth our safety and freedom they gave to god and and God even against a world that trys to kick him out jesus honors this country and i am a fool if i think hes not honoring them in great joy ..we dont get to do the things w es do and find favor just cause jesus can take it...father with great joy do i serve thee and  may we all take time with you to see the way you realy are thankyou for jesus and all his children in heaven and on earth may me endure just a while longer amen my King and bless 1/ for me O God for worthey is she ~&~
