It's An Honor

My first K-LOVE Photo

If you’ve ever looked at the calendar and a little too late realized it’s your mom’s birthday or an anniversary.  It kind of takes your breath away for a minute.

Had one of those take my breath away moments this morning.  I realized today is this one year anniversary of this show.

I remember not sleeping the night before, being so nervous, like the first day of school and you don't know where your locker is.

I find myself overwhelmed with thankfulness today.

Thank you God.  Thank you all for allowing me to be here with you, for allowing me to walk out a dream.

It’s an honor.

We started our new jobs about the same time. I can't believe it's already been a year! YOU are such an asset to KLOVE. I thoroughly enjoy your comments on raising your kids alone. I did it with five! Don't know how I managed. Only know God always saw me through it.
Today is one year since I buried my husband. Where did that year go? Where did the 19 years we had together go? When I think of him with Jesus it fills my heart with JOY!!
God Bless you Amanda

Congratulations, Amanda! It's been a pleasure listening to you, as I listen at work and you keep me company. Here's to many more years!

I remember your first day on the air.  I was going to Clovis, New Mexico for a doctors appt. (I live in Portales, New Mexico and Clovis is only 20 miles from here).  You were kinda of nervous (to say the least).  I remember thinking about what happened to (I forgot her name) the one that you replaced.  I feel bad about not remembering her name. Anyway congradulation on making your first year with K-Love a huge success. You are doing a great job. (oh and really you do not have to worry about things since God is already taking care of everything).  You have mentioned a time or two about worrying about your kids. Thank you for doing a fantastic job.  Tom
