I don't know about you, but after hearing Chris Tomlin's new song Whom Shall I Fear...I feel like I could take on anything.
The lyrics say:
I know who goes before me
I know who stands behind
The God of angel armies is always by my side
It must be a message I've needed to hear lately, because my pastor also talked about the topic of fear at church yesterday. He mentioned: if you’re afraid of something in your life, future, finances, relationships, think of that feeling of fear like a big flashing red warning light that you’re relying on your own strength too much.
In those moments of fear, stop, ask God for help, and trust Him to do what He says he can do.
Like Chris Tomlin sings in that song:
The One who reigns forever
He is a friend of mine
The God of angel armies is always by my side
