I don’t know about you, but as a kid, I think I thought that was the way God worked too. I thought he was writing down all of my sins and keeping them in a folder to be used against me at a later date.

It’s hard to wrap your brain around the idea that God loves you just the way you are, worts and all. I have found one of the best explanations about this depth of God's love in this children's Bible I read to my kids.
