He Comforts Us

Hello, Amanda, The words someone spoke to me, after the loss of a loved one, "If He brings you to it, He will take you through it". God has brought us out, to bring us in, surely, he is able. Although, tragedy, has come, God is nevertheless, still in control, and he alone, sets the boundaries for all that can or cannot enter into our lives. I trust him, though, not always understanding and even through great sorrows and tears, I believe in his faithfulness.

I'm a parent of a first grader in Carmel, CA. Thanks for praying for all of us! Made my day to realize that at the time you prayed, thousands of people all over the country were joining in, looking to God alone for Peace in the midst of our anxiety. The tragedy which happened in CT on Friday is just another reminder of how desperately we need a Savior. And God has given us not just a Savior King, but a Comforter and Friend. I'm focusing on this Truth this Christmas. (:
