If you think it’s too late for you, or you’re too out of shape to even try to get healthy again, check out the story of my friend, John.
John used to be my boss at a Christian radio station in Washington D.C. About 5 years ago he got on a health kick and lost half his body weight. He lost over 100 pounds just by eating healthy and walking. He was an inspiration. He became a cheerleader for others to get healthy, get moving.
By loosing all that weight, he got a second chance in life, and he made the most out of it. It’s a good thing he did because no one knew that his life was going to be cut short. He passed away this morning after a sudden illness. He died too young. It’s funny how sometimes loss can be your greatest inspiration.
If you made a new year’s resolution to change your life, be healthy, loose weight, or whatever, don’t give up! There are lots of skeptics that will say you will break it. Maybe even you are your own skeptic. Ignore them. Ignore the voice of doubt. I am here cheering you on!!

If you really want a change, or improve something in your life, go after it with reckless abandon. It’s a cliché, but it’s true; you never know how long you have. Do everything you can to live this life that you have been given to the fullest.
You only get one trip around the block. Make it count.
Live fully, love fully,
Amanda
