Forgive me for getting personal today. I just had to share with you one of my greatest blessings, and hope it inspires you to be thankful too. I hope it encourages you to pick up the phone and tell that special personal what they mean to you.
When I turned 3 years old, my mom missed my birthday. I didn't get a party, but it actually turned out to be the best birthday I ever had. My little sister was born. Yep, we were born on the same day. We are 3 years and 20 minutes apart.
I am so thankful that God gave me such a beautiful sister to live life with. I don't know about you, but it seems like no one understands you more than your siblings. You have shared so many of life's experiences together. Together we got through our parent's divorce, college together, my divorce, and now she is expecting her first child! My sister, Meaghan, is the one person that can tell me when I'm out of line, forgive me, and have my back. Most of the time she acts more like the big sister!
Today I'm thankful for the best birthday present I ever received. Happy Birthday Meaghan!
