There's a story in the news about a teenager from Pakistan... who is living proof that it's possible.
Malala Yousafzai. She is fighting for the right for girls in her country to go to school, and she was shot because of it.
She is recovering now. "God has given me this new life, " she says ,"and this is a second life. This is the new life and I want to serve the people."
She's still fighting.
I don't know about you, but her story makes me not want to take my freedom for granted. Instead of complaining about sitting in the long carpool line this afternoon at my daughter's school, I will appreciate that my daughter get to go.
