30 Days of Prayer for New Life: Day 7

Father, remind me today that Your forgiveness is for everyone. It’s for bad guys and good guys, mean girls and nice girls, and even for messed up me.

It’s right there in Your word, “…Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone” (Romans 5:18).

It’s not just the perfect people who have it all together, but for the messes too.  I might be a mess, but I’m Your mess.– In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Awesome idea - daily prayer centered on passages. Thanks Amanda!  I just want to live for you Lord. Guide me towards more selflessness and understanding of the needs of others to your glory. Lord let us be ever mindful of who we are, ". . . because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship (daughtership). And by him we cry, ""Abba," Father."  The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.  Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory." (Romans 8) - In His name, Amen.

This is a misquote from the bible.  The New Living Translation should say "Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone.  Romans 5:18 (NLT) Amanda Please understand I'm not saying your prayer is wrong.  I got a message on my face book today which had a misquote about this verse from KLOVE.  Not sure who sent it but the misquoted the bible.  Have a God inspired day.  Smile
