STOP Day

We read something today that really impacted our view of how our weekends are spent. After a week of work, most people use their weekends to catch up on errands, get laundry done, and fix things around the house. Have we been doing it wrong all this time?

Instead of adding work to our "free" days, shouldn't we be using them to relax and enjoy them? Perhaps adding a STOP DAY- or day of rest- to our weekend routine could benefit us mentally and physically. Read more about the potential benefits here.

Have you ever been on the receiving end of a child's honesty?

Last week we posted the following question on our Facebook page:

Have you ever been on the receiving end of a child's honesty?

We received some awesome responses from you! So hilarious. Check them out:

"I had a little girl tell me that her mommy uses color out of a box on her hair and I wouldn't look so old if I used it." DK W.

"Twenty-five years ago, my wife and I bought a house in desperate need of repair and remodeling inside and out. After 2 years of working on the inside, I began to tackle the outside by replacing the front porch. While I was running a jack hammer on it, a 10 year old neighbor boy said to me during a break, "My dad said he wondered when you where going to get working on the OUTSIDE of this place." Evan M.

"While going through old boxes of pictures..I came across my High School cheerleader pictures. I showed my boys (6 & 9 at the time) and one said "Are you sure that's you?" I said yes...then the other one asked..."WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!?!?!" Suzanne M.

"My four year old once told me that her crayon was "gray, like your hair." Tamara L.
