Non-Stick Sand

Why doesn’t sand stick to beach volleyball players? YAHOO! Sports 

The sand used in competition is heavily regulated by the International Volleyball Federation. There are no pebbles or bits of shells. The shape ensures a smoother grain. The size is Goldilocks style: not too small or too big. Why doesn't it stick? Because it's designed not to.

So THAT’S why he was breathing funny.

A wheel shaped Lego piece was found inside 6-year-old Isaak Lasson’s nose last week, after he was taken to see a new doctor after having difficulty with his breathing — in particular, with eating and sleeping — since he was 3-years-old. Previous doctors suspected an infection and had prescribed antibiotics, which did not help.

The Royal Hug

Would you be able to live under the scrutiny of a country, your every move watched?

Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry were part of a large posse of British Royals watching the men's track cycling on August 3. When Team GB took the gold on a day when the team had already shattered a world record, they joined the standing ovation, waving and cheering—and what “The Daily Mail” called a PDA: a “rare public display of affection.”
