Chris and Conrad on July 1st

Lisa Williams, Chris and Conrad, and Eric Allen.

This morning, Chris and Conrad sang two songs from their CD Chris and Conrad.  They did a live version of "Lead Me to the Cross" and "You're the One".  We love the passion they have when they sing.

Okay, and they're funny.  They lived up to their reputation.  We laughed about reverse bangs, the pre-amble to the constitution, Smeagle, Conrad's many jobs, Kiss and Conrad, and lots more:)

We're working on editing some video from their visit.  We kinda went improv nuts after the show and Chris played a voice coach professor trying to help us become better djs.  Conrad was his helpful assistant.  THEN, Chris became Harry Caray and interviewed us on his fake radio show.  And Conrad was again his helpful assistant.  As soon as that's edited, we'll have it here for you to watch:)

We're also learning how to get audio up on this blog so you can hear interviews you miss.  Hopefully, some time next week we'll have that figured out.

So after the morning show, and after our insane video improv session...

We had our monthly all staff meeting.  And Chris and Conrad closed the meeting by singing "Lead Me to the Cross" for our staff.

And then they sang Happy Birthday to K-LOVE President Mike Novak:)  (Happy Birthday Mike!  We love you!)

They're passionate about freedom in Jesus Christ.  And they have a great sound.

What God is looking for...

When my family lived in Orlando, we worshiped at a church called Northland, with Pastor Joel Hunter.

Now that we live in California, we have a great church family we worship with each Sunday. But we are still able to be a part of live worship services on-line with Northland.

Tonight, while rocking my baby Jesse, I listened to Sean Cooper preach a message that gripped my heart.  After the sermon, the singers and musicians led us in worship and all I could do was cry and worship God, and rock my sweet baby.

Sean closed the service with this scripture from Micah 6:8, paraphrased from The Message Bible...

"But he's already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women.  It's quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, and don't take yourself too seriously— take God seriously."

with love in Christ,

What matters to you most?

My boys are napping, so I thought I'd take a moment to ask you a question...

What matters most to you?

As we're building this blog, I'm realizing something very important:  it's for you.   So if we don't have things here that matter to YOU, we're wasting your and our time.  And that's way too valuable a commodity to waste.

So tell me.  When you have a moment, leave a comment below.  (Or send us a message using the comment form on this blog.)

For me, spiritual things matter the most.  My relationship with God, then my relationships with my husband, my children, and the rest of my family.  My friends.  My church.  My family's health.

I imagine most of us share a similar set of priorities.

And then...what else matter to you?

Truly, when it comes to what happens on the morning show, what matters most to you is what matters most to us.

Thanks for your feedback.

Hugs and K-LOVE,
