Happy Valentine's Day

MY HEART IS HURTING FOR THE PEOPLE ON THAT CRUISE SHIP,RIGHT NOW.I LOVE PEOPLE,AND KIDS. I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY SEND THAT SMALL BOAT TO GET A CRUISESHIP THAT THERE FAMILY WITH CHILDREN WITH THEM THAT NEED I BATH AND ARE TIRED, AND WISH THEY COULD HAVE A HOT MEAL AND SHOWER. WHY DIDN'T THET SEND ANOTHER CRUISESHIP OUT TO SAVE THEM. I THINK THAT WOULDN'T HAVE COAT THEM AS MUST AS 11 BILLION DOLLAR, AND THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN I GOOD DAY. AS IT IS NOW ,THIS WILL BE A DAY WE WILL NEVER FORGET. I PRAY FOR THEM PEOPLE,FRIEND,AND FAMILY FOR A SAVE RETURNED HOME . MY GOD BLESS THE USA!!!!! AMEM LOVE ALL MY LOVE LISA PARRISH  

JD,  I was just getting ready to go to dinner when I heard that you had something special for those that were hurting.  Today would have been my 26th Anniversity and my Husband passed a year and a half ago, and I miss him so much, he was my better half and suffered from cancer and I know that he is in a better place.  John 3:16, has been my favorite verse since grade school and I am now in my 60's.  Thanks for your special Valentine.

Jesus, My Valentine

Jesus does not send perfume
To fog up the air
Instead he sends salvation, sweet
To show how much He cares

Jesus doesn’t need to buy candy hearts
Or boxes of chocolate delight
Instead He always lets me know
I am special in His sight

Jesus doesn’t pass out cards
Decorated in colors of red
Instead he died on the cross for me
His precious blood He shed

Jesus does not send gifts with happy tears
Like I would send to my mother;
Jesus sends the Gospel message clear
To always love each other

Jesus doesn’t hand out teddy bears
That sings or recites, “Please be mine,”
He gave His heart for me
So I can wear it all the time

Jesus does not deliver roses red
That last a short time then I can’t see
Instead He gifted all with a life of grace;
That’s good enough for me.

Thank you for this wonderful Valentine card!! As a widow I know that the Lord is my husband, and always was, but your post just brought the reality back into focus again. Bless you, JD!!
