It can be so easy when you are waiting for something—a relationship you've prayed for,a new job that could help alleviate financial stress, health results that could change your future—its easy to let fear of the unknown consume you but fear is not of God. All the "what if's" start to take over your every thought and if you are at all like me you tend to go to the worst case scenario (that way anything less serious is a bonus!) For the last 2 months I've had some bizarre symptoms (debilitating headaches, fainting spells, blurred vision) all of which have led to numerous doctors visits and tests run but still no answer. We know a few things it's NOT, but we still don't know what it is.
I don't know specifically what it is that you are waiting for but while we wait together for whatever God has next instead of focusing on the scary unknown Philipians 4:8 tells us what we should be thinking about: “whatever is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise."
Not once is fear mentioned.
