This Mr. Lovewell story begins two years ago.  A very good friend, someone I refer to as "my brother" needed a vehicle.  Mr. Lovewell showed up and sold him one at very low price. (mainly because he would not take it as a gift)  About a month ago, my friend (who I know is being called into evangelism), gave this truck to someone who needed it.  My brother was then given a 2005 Toyota truck with only about 24000 miles on it.  Mr. Lovewell arranged that.  Skip to our church here and a mision trip we are taking to Uganda Africa in June.  We are working to raise funds for the orphans that we will be visiting.  My brother has taken the gift he was given and with great love is gicing this truck to the church to auction off to raise money for Uganda.  How cool is that!!!!

I would like to add that my brother and his wife are expecting their very first baby in July!

Be blessed, be safe, and have a great day!

I saw Mr Lovewell driving my daughter's truck a few days ago when she stopped and gave a homeless person $10.  My daughter is pregnant, not working and the baby's daddy is not in the picture.  It was Christ's pure love when she handed this gentleman that $10.  He cried when he thanked her and she cried for him.  Later when we got to the mall to buy her an outfit for her baby shower, she told me not to worry about the outfit, she had changed her mind.  I later realized she no longer had enough money to buy herself the outfit she wanted.  Thank you Mr Lovewell for touching my precious child.

Mr. Lovewell was working with me one night and  a soldier came into the dealership and was having problems with the bank he is financed through because of an outstanding parking ticket. Mr. Lovewell asked him how much the ticket was for. The soldier told him and he got his checkbook out, wrote a check to the soldier for the amount he owed. He then handed it to the soldier and said thank you for your service to our country. It's not much, but it comes from my heart. The soldier could not believe what just happened. Said nobody has ever thanked him. The soldier then told Mr. Lovewell that he came there tonight to complain about the bank , but instead he met God at the dealership!

My mother died of pancreatic cancer at a young age.  I released this week a fb page “Ellie May’s Garden of Grace” and a web-site www.elliemay.org.   The whole purpose is for it to be a living, breathing legacy that promotes random acts of kindness.  I came up with this “traveling box of faith” project and “Sunday seeds” …. I tend to dream big and wanted to have 1000 fans by next May, one in every state, committed to performing a random act of kindness.  Once you put things out there in faith the devil can make you doubt yourself….I used the “Garden theme” so it wasn’t abo ut me, but focused on growing your own garden of grace.  This morning I woke up with a little doubt about what I am trying to promote….and then ironically I heard on K-Love for the first time this morning about Mr. Lovewell….I couldn’t believe how similar my web-site and fb page sounded to this one by Mercy Me….both promoting random acts of kindness.  I sent “Kindness cards” in my boxes of faith and when he said people were handing out “Mr. Lovewell was here” cards I had that warm feeling once again that I can help make a difference.  God spoke to me once again through your broadcast.  Bless you for the stories and songs you share with us.  I included K-Love on my links page on www.elliemay.org hoping others will get encouraged as I have by listening to you.  Have a blessed day……   Kris Thomas

Mr. Lovewell received an email intended for someone else that requested support for a Walk for Autism.  Mr. Lovewell donated to the stranger's effort to raise funds for the worthy cause because of the encouragement he received on KLove that morning to commit random acts of kindness for the cause of Christ.

I'd like to start by saying that K-Love radio is changing lives.  I've seen it!!

In recent months, I've been really moved by the stories people have told about make a difference Monday.  As I've listened to the stories about people doing things for others, I'm reminded of one of the greatest life lessons that I learned at an early age.  Once people realize that the money they have is God's, not theirs, their life can never be the same.  The use of God's money to do something for others and better someone's day is a great gift.

I am currently working on an Army base in central Indiana.  I spend Thursday at my project on the  base and have been eating lunch at a Subway on base.  K-Love radio's make a difference Monday has really inspired me to make a small difference for our soldiers in training.  I try to buy a soldiers lunch when I'm in the restaurant.  It is absolutely amazing at the difference it really does make in their day.

A couple of weeks ago after spending the day at the base, I met my wife at a haircut salon where my two youngest sons were getting a haircut.  I walked in the salon and my wife said to my son Elijah, "tell daddy what you found on the ground when we were walking over here".  My four year old son reached his hand in his pocket with the biggest smile on his face and pulled out his find.  He grabbed each end with a hand, straightened it out and whipped around to reveal his find.  I saw his find and my heart sank followed by tears.  On his walk through a field to the hair salon, he found a five dollar bill on the ground.  You know what they say at Subway, five dollar, five dollar foot long.

Is our God awesome or what?  Absolutley unbelievable.  When you do something for someone else, God ALWAYS, ALWAYS brings it back.

Luke 6:38, Give, and it will be given to you.

God cannot lie.  May all have a blessed day!!

Every once in a while when I am sitting in a Drive thru grabbing my lunch I see mr Lovewell next to me and he nudges me to pay for the person behind me (their order).  The other day there was a senior citizen just purchasing a coffee and I had paid for hers and told the cashier to tell the woman to have a blessed day.  The cashier smiled and said will do.  I looked in my  rearview mirror before I left the drive thru, the lady was smiling and waved at me.  It always feels good to do that once in a while.

I know this is for those who are seeing Mr. Lovewell...I am posting this because he is needed in a huge way for some missionaries in South Africa who have been acting like him.  They dedicated over 40 years of service to the Lord, and to people.  This last week they were in a serious car accident and the husband died.  The wife is in the hospital with broken ribs, punctured lung, etc.  In South Africa to get private medical care it is extremely expensive and a lot of the costs are upfront.  This lady isn't worried about herself however and keeps asking about how everyone else is doing.  Please, if Mr. Lovewell has it in his heart, please help her in any way the Lord leads.  Thank you!  (go to www.mission2sa.org for details to help)

My Mr. Lovewell was a woman. Several years ago in december, my husband and I were short on money. He was unable to work due to health problems and I had a minimum wage job. We were not able to pay all of our bills. My husband wentto the insurance company we use and told them our payment would be late. The woman working said our insurance would be canceled and said she didn't want that to happen so she paid it for us. We paid her back as soon as i got paid, but I've never forgotten that. we still use the same insurance company and will until, well forever.

Mr. Lovewell showed up at our local YMCA.  There are several members that come in and workout at 5:30 in the morning and one man in particular is a 93 year old, recently widowed GENTLEman.  He doesn't miss a day.  If he does, we are concerned, worried and moved to call.  He is on a very limited income and Mr. Lovewell prompted several members to pitch in and pay for his membership for the year.  I watched as he was told that he owed nothing for the year which left him speechless, teary-eyed and so very thankful.

A few days ago a man walked in to my work looking for work that the company would pay him cash for. The company would not because its against their policy. I called my pastor to see if he had any yard work to be done but everything was already done, there was no work. So my run in with Mr Lovewell is my heart was filled with the holy spirit and i jump over the counter that i was working behind ran to my car and got my atm card and with drew the money this man needed i told him it was from god and blessed him on his way. I know this was Mr lovewell because my family and I are struggling financially and i honestly did not have the money to give but would you believe that very day Mr. Lovewell visited me at work and my pastors wife came in and blessed me with money, and it didn't stop there the next day i checked my mail and there was unexpected money. Plus the next morning my car battery die and I was blessed yet again by Mr. lovewell by friend who is a non believer bought and installed a new battery for me. Trust in the lord and he will provide. I am proof.

First I want to say how touching all the Mr. Lovewell stories are as I have read over all of them. Truly a blessing to read how unique and touching each story is. My Mr. Lovewell is a co worker at work. My husband and my 2 young boys had recently lost our home and were staying will in another multi-family home. The food was running low, they air conditioner went out in Sept. my kids were sweating at night, hungry, stressed. We were struggling to get one our feet to find another home for our family and get our of the current siuation and things just seemed to keep getting worse. My husband started a new job and we were both working. I evently broke down at work on the phone talking to my mother on the phone and a office co worker heard my story and what was going on. I left my office overwelmed. I returned to my office and moved my mouse on my computer and found a 20 dollar bill folded up with a post it note that stated "I know this isn't much, but I hope it help." I just broke down. It was for sure a blessing and meant the world to me. That was one of the many days that Mr. Lovewell visited me!

I see Mr. Lovewell every Mon. night at the Overcomers Outreach meeting at Elmbrook Church in Wisconsin.  In fact I see an average of 12 to 18 Lovewells pouring their lives into one other as they support each other in rising above the pain and turmoil of destructive compulsive behaviors such as alcoholism or addictions.  They welcome anyone who has been affected either directly or indirectly by the tragic consequences of slavery to sin in one it's most insidious and hideous manifestations.  They get into the mud and mess with each other and point to the freedom and victory found in Christ and Him crucified.  They render dedicated service to those who still suffer as they once suffered. They provide an environment of unmitigated grace to those who have, all to often, come to expect only judgment and ostracization from God's people.  I would go so far as to say that I have never in all my travels encountered a truer display of fellowship than I see in "those people" down in the church basement. It is my deepest honor and glory in His name to call them "My people".

Grace and peace;
Br. Jon

I saw Mr. Lovewell give a homeless man and his dog $20 yesterday in Topeka, Kansas.  I heard Mr. Lovewell tell the man that "God told me to give this to you". At the time, I didn't know it was Mr. Lovewell and I wondered if it really was God telling him to give the man money (something that I was always leary of because I was afraid that the person would spend the money on drugs or alchol).  Now that I know the person was Mr. Lovewell, I'm sure it was God speaking.  He told me that it doesn't matter what the homeless man does with the money, what matters is that when he tells someone to give something, that they listen and do it.

I saw Mr. Lovewell when my very dear friend's AC finally went out last week, we live in Phx, AZ.  My friend is a single mom, raising 2 daughters and 2 nieces with no financial support and currently unemployed.  Mr. Lovewell came by, fixed the ac, parts and labor (easily over $1000 worth).  My friend had offered him her last $200 she had in the bank and then offered to make payments to reimburse him.  Mr. Lovewell, said, "No, take whatever you can give and make an offering to your church." This person was not a friend or even acquaintance- just a very kind man that not only touched my friend but also me hearing about it. I love when God blesses just to remind you he's got your back!

Lisa, you were so right when you said Mr. Lovewell is when Jesus shows up.  Back in March I was sitting in the trama room with my oldest son lieing on the table after being hit by a car.  My husband was deployed, my other 3 children were at home.  And I sat with the cell phone in my hands praying.  I knew I had to call my mother and beg her to fly in, but she is taking care of her mother and granddaughter and I knew this was going to be a tough spot... I hated to even ask her.  But I knew I was not going to be able to do this alone.  God had been with me throughout all the events leading up to this point.  But I couldn't be at the hospital and home at the same time.  I opened the cell phone to call and got distracted by something one of the trama team had said.  Five minutes later, Mr Lovewell walked through the door.  She had driven the 2 1/2 hours after I had called her asking for her prayers and relaying the situation to her.  She stayed until my husband was inbound from Iraq.  In this situation, there were so many Mr. Lovewells that showed up.  We serve an awesome God.  Thank you for what you do.

As I was listening to KLove this morning, and hearing about the awesome Mr. Lovewell stories, my car died at a stoplight (I am more afraid of car trouble than anything!!). I was stuck in the left lane of a 3-lane road which was extremely busy and I couldn't even start my car. As I started to cry a young woman approached my car window and asked if I was OK. She reminded me that "this happens to everyone" and that everything would be OK. I thanked her and soon after she left I was beginning to feel flustered again. There I was, stuck in the middle of the road with a tow-truck on the way, when a stranger ran across 3 lanes of traffic from a nearby gas station and offered to push my car into the gas station parking lot. As he pushed, 2 more men noticed and joined in the pushing while I steered the car to safety. As I thanked the men, they all walked away...back to their days. They'll never know the comfort I recieved from them as they came to my assistance when I needed it most and had no idea what to do. I am so thankful for those "Lovewell" strangers!

I saw Mr. Lovewell in Baker City Oregon at a truckstop in 1996. My wife and I were homeless, jobless and hungry. We were headed to Seattle to stay with my dad for a while and had no money to eat when the bus stopped for a meal stop, Mr. Lovewell who I think may have been an angel went to the ATM and without saying a word handed me $20. We were able to eat then and again in the morning. God is good.
