To me the best cheeseburger is at "Red Robin" they have a burger called the "Banzai Burger which has the grilled pineapple, cheddar cheese & is marinated in teriyaki sause, with all the fixings, its wonderful. I lovvvve it.

The best cheeseburger in the entire United States would have to be Five Guys Burgers but not at any one of their restaurants their BEST are at the Five Guys in George Town. They're juicy, fresh, mouthwatering, you can get just about any condiment you want on it, best seasoning in the world and no burger is complete without a large side of fries, you can't beat their fries! Old fashioned 50's style restaurant, best in the US!

When I was 27 weeks pregnant, my husband and I stopped at Wimpy's in Greenfield, Tennessee, for a cheeseburger.  There, I consumed an awesomely delicious, juicy 1-lb. cheeseburger!  The next day I went into labor.  My husband still says that I went into labor because of the Wimpy Burger.  (P.S. The hospital was able to stop the contractions, and our miracle daughter was born at 34 weeks.)

How funny is that.  Our church here in Toledo takes one night a month (11-7 call-out) to find the best cheeseburger. Last month we did the 5 guys and last night it was Bar Louie - build a burger night. Both awesome. While we are there we pay it forward to someone eating out. Last year it was finding the best pizza in Toledo. I will keep you updated as to what we think is the best cheeseburger in Toledo, Ohio.

The best cheeseburger is at a place called mugshots. It is called the Mcdonald burger. It has great seasoned beef on a toasted sour dough bun which gives it a great sweeet flavor. Then it's dressed with diced sweet red onions, bacon, barbeque sauce, ranch dressing, and of course cheese.

Also Toro you can get it with an oreo shake and fried pickles with it, all for only $22! Such a deal!

I think the best cheeseburger is at Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Winston-Salem, NC.  The patties are made with fresh real beef as you order.  You can get a single and a double and the patties are about an inch thick.  You can get whatever you want on it and all the toppigs are free. Only made better by the fries they make from fresh potatoes as you order. YUM!!!!!

The very Best Cheeseburger is in the K-Love city of Flint Michigan 88.7 on the FM Dial. Even though we do not make a Ton of GM Cars here anymore we still know how to make the Best burger ever! Conveniently there is a airport here so when you do come to try it you will have no worries about getting to one of the many restraunts in the area named (very appropriatlly) "Halo Burger". Halo Burger is well known for its "Kewpie" (QP) which is a hand made all beef patty cooked to perfection served the only way you should order it: with the works, cheese and olives.
The slogan for Halo Burger is "seven days with out Halo Burger makes one weak" so if that doesnt make your mouth water you need to see a doctor!

Jordans BBQ!! In Bryant Arkansas. I really wish i could of got through this morning my sister and I together called 72 times on the way to school. They have the best lota burger in the USA!! They season it just right! They have grilled onions and you can pick Swiss cheese American cheese or pepper Jack! The toast their buns with butter! The best part about it is the owners are good Christian people and what makes the burger even better is as they make them KLOVE is playing through the entire resturant! I would like to nominate for best cheeseburger Parcells Deli and Grille in the beautiful Kentucky Lake area.  Why, you say...... Well, they grind their own meat, have their own secret seasonings, with a variety of cheeses to choose from and serve their burgers on homemade toasted buns! There is a place here in Wilmington, North Carolina called PT's Grill and they make one of, if not THE, best Cheese Burger. I don't know if it's the beef or the bun or the cheese that makes them so good. It just may be the 200 burgers that hit the grill that day before your's that makes it that adds that special flavor! Most locals will agree with me(tourist haven't quite caught on yet).

One of THE BEST cheeseburgers I have ever eaten is at a place in Westminster, CO called Jim's Burger Haven. It is a 12" YUMMY cheeseburger and with fries and a chocolate malt! YUM, now I am going to have to make a trip to Denver area to get one - my family and I live in Grand Junction, CO. It's a four hour drive and I would do that just to eat one of those cheeseburgers - LOL

The BEST cheeseburger is in Amarillo, TX from a tiny restaurant called Coyote Bluff. It is mouth-watering yummy.

You have to try the Parnell burger at Parnell's grill in Martin, Tn! It is so big it is held together by a steak knife...and who would have thought that peppers would taste good on a cheeseburger it's a wonderful delight.

I would like to tell you about a great cheeseburger. It is called a "Bubba Burger". The restaurant is called the All American Hamburger Barn. We eat at the one in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. It is a huge burger. You get several choices of cheeses on it. They also have great onion rings and a great dipping sauce for them. You should check it out.

The BEST cheeseburger around in my opinion is from Ruby Tuesday, and more specifically in Kettering, Ohio!  We get them often for lunch here at work.  They are made from "real" beef, they're juicy and HUGE, and we all go into a cheeseburger coma after eating them!  LOL  My fav is the Alpine Swiss burger.

I am sure that a lot of people would say this, but my husband makes the best cheeseburger you will ever taste.  For 2 pounds of hamburger meat he puts in 1 pound of spicy sausage.  After he mixes the meat together and shapes the patties, he puts meat rub on the outside of the patties.  They taste wonderful and are so juicy.  They can't be beat.

The BEST burger by far is the Cricket burger at Cherry Cricket in Denver, CO! If you can't decide on toppings you can throw a dart at a dart board that has all the toppings available on it and make your creation! I had a burger w/ BBQ sauce, bacon, avacado, smoked chedder, and cream cheese. DE-LI-CIOUS!!!!!!! It was on Man v. Food a year or so ago.

The Pickwick in Duluth, Minnesota has the best cheeseburger!  The Orginal Peppercheese Burger has gobs of spicy cheese and is deepfried!

Here in Cincinnati there are continual contests for the best cheeseburger.  We have several great places!  My personal favorite is Quatman's Cafe.  The burger is the perfect size, cooked just right, and served with lettuce onion and pickle.  It is always hot and juicy, never cold, never dry, never greasy.  You would not be disappointed! Promise!!

For a really yummy homemade cheeseburger go to the Golden Ace Inn on East Washington Street, minutes from downtown. It's a very small pub owned by the McGinley's. Now, this depends on what kind of burger you are talking about.  If we are talking traditional, cheese, mustard, ketchup, onions, tomato, and lettuce it has to be What-A-Burger in Newport News, Virginia.  If we are talking anything else I would have to say I can't choose.

The absolute best cheeseburgers are at the Squeeze Inn, Stockton, MO!  The tiny store is owned by the most humble lighthearted Christian woman, Ruth.  To eat a squeeze burger, you can't be concerned with cleanliness, you have to love lots of cheese and you have to be reaaaallly hungry!  If you order a side of fries, you might want to share with a friend.

Ok, for the whole cheeseburger thing, i can't say i have a personal one to nominate, because we all know that as "good" as the Grade C food (being nice here) is at most big name fast food places like Mickey D's and Burger King, there are a bunch of not-so-big name places with MUCH better burgers. I will say the "Bubba Burger" sounds cool though

The best "long" cheeseburger has to be from Dea's In & Out in Gresham, OR. Long burgers are 6 inches of toasted bun with real meat, a special sauce, grilled onion and cheese. They don't make them better then that.

I second Bruce Smith's vote for the McDonald burger at Mugshots in Starkville, MS-- home of Mississippi State University. Mugshots has been voted "Best Burger in the state of Mississippi" in Mississippi magazine several years running.  It is voted best burger in Starkville year after year too.  It sounds strange to have ranch dressing and BBQ sauce on it with the standard burger stuff, but it is WONDERFUL! They have these slightly sweet toasted sourdough buns that make it, and fabulous crunchy battered fries.  There's nowhere else I want to have a cheeseburger!

The only reason this burger wont win is because its only located here in Cincinnati. If you have ever had one, I can assure you, your vote would be for it as well. Food Network voted it Best Burger in Ohio and Guy Fieri filmed an episode of Diners Drive-Ins and Dives there to be aired in the upcoming season.

In my family our favorite burger will forever be the Whataburger. Here in Illinois they don't exist, but we experienced it when we were on vacation in jacksonville, florida. We had been at the beach all afternoon and we were all really hungry and tired. We needed somewhere quick so we drove thru Whataburger, an unknown but likely looking possiblility. We ordered 10 whataburgers (we have 8 kids) with no regard to preferences or pickiness. Even the kids that don't like ketchup, onions, etc thought they were delicious. Hunger really is the best seasoning!

The best cheeseburger is Calvert City Drive-In!!!!!  They have been around for 50+ years and it is still as good as I remember it when I was a little girl!!!

The best cheeseburgers I've had are from a small drive-thru chain that originated in Fargo, ND called "Burger Time." Their Bigger Burger w/ Cheese is fantastic.  The 1/3 pound burger comes loaded w/ cheese, dill pickles, tomato, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, mustard, and onions.  Also, the owners are strong Christians, all Burger Time stands are built in the shape of a cross.

Double Bacon Cheeseburger at Hodad's in Ocean Beach California.  I live in Memphis and my family would hop in the car right now and endure an 1,800 mile car ride (and we get tired of riding across town) to have one of these burgers.  You may have seen it on the Food Network (Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives). If you are ever anywhere near this place, you have to go. Bring a towel though, the burger can get messy - but that's what makes it so good!!!!

Without a doubt, the best cheeseburgers are found in Greenwood, AR at the Pizza Barn!!

The BEST cheeseburger has to come from The Lord's Kitchen in San Antonio, TX. They have burger sizes from 1/4lb all the way to a 3 pounder. Absoulutly worth every calorie! We moved away from SA and haven't found a burger that has even come close!

AJ Bombers in Milwaukee has the best burger's... period!  Forget these national chains that are being displayed here.... a local business is the way to go.  You gotta have an AJ Bomber Burger and while there, get P'Nut Bombed!

I tuned in this morning as usual and heard the piece on Cheeseburger Appreciation Month.  The thought struck me (the Spirit actually) and asked "In this day and age when folks in many areas of the U.S. and other countries don't have enough food, why would we spend the money to fly two folks somewhere and taste a cheesburger?"

Why not choose the winning cheeseburger location and then approach the winning establishment to feed the homeless in their hometown with cheeseburgers?  This at least would be of service to others as well and still be a bit fun.  Or you could just take the money for plane tickets, etc. and feed some folks that cannot feed themselves.

K-Love is a great ministry but I noticed how much this event resembled others on secular radio stations.  In that case, how different are we as Christians when we sound the same as other groups (radio stations, etc.)?

Please don't take this as a criticism but an honest observation.  In the end God is in control.

Hackney's On Harms in glenview IL.  It's already been featured in Diners, Driv-Ins, & Dives, and they make the best burgers on the planet.  They serve an inside-out cheeseburger on sourdough.  You can also get a Bleu burger with the cheese mixed with the meat, or for the less adventurous, you could get a regular 1/2 lb. hackneyburger topped with cheese.  The one on Harms road is the original, and the best.  It's a part of Chicagoland history.

The BEST cheeseburger around is the "Galley Boy" at Swenson's Drive-In in Akron, OH.  It's an incredible taste that will cause displaced Akron natives to come back home for one periodically.  I'd send you one, but it's just not the same as eating a fresh one that the car hops have just run out to your car.

The best cheeseburger without a doubt is the Woodhouse in Bismarck, ND.

A slice of perfectly aged American cheese tops this fresh, ground, homegrown Black Angus beef patty... juicy to the core.  This burger rocks the house!  Don't believe me... there sign says it all, "World's Best Hamburger."

I work at Hazard Community/Technical College in Hazard, KY.  Our grill has the best cheeseburgers in the world.  They butter the buns and the cheese is gooey and good.  It's real hamburger meat, too.  Not processed stuff. There is no better cheeseburger!

The best Cheeseburger? Fudruckers in Albuquerque NM. pPlease come try it! They make it to order and you can get a delicious strawberry shake to go along with the cheeseburger. Ok, so The 66 Diner is another favorite cheeseburger place of mine here in Albuquerque NM.

My husband, a chef, came up with a New Englandah burger while at culinary school. All the ingredients are from new england, from the maple flavored burger, to the Vermont Sharp Cheddar cheese to the grilled MacIntosh apple. It's juicy and delicious!! And probably the best cheeseburger I've ever tasted!

Oh..I forgot to mention the applewood smoked bacon. Everything's better with bacon!

Just wanted to add a cheese burger--the Bubba Burger at the Cutting Board in Eureka, Montana.  It was voted "best burger in the ultimate hometown grill off on ABC's Live with Regis and Kelly, June,2009.  It's mesquite grilled patty topped with spicy cajun sausage, jumbo shrimp, chipotle sause and cheddar cheese!

I wanted to write and nominate Checker's Grill of Madison, North Carolina. It isn't associated with the Checker's chain resturants. It is located inside a general store that also sells gasoline. It is always full with a waiting line just to sit down. They have what they call a cheeseburger basket which comes with a basket FULL of fries or tater tots and a mouth watering cheeseburger that is at least 6 inches wide. You can get absolutely anything on it you want. And a cup of sweet southern tea with free refills for $5.00. You can also enjoy grilled chicken, hamburger steaks, fresh grown salads from local farmers, milkshakes, banana splits, and any other ice creams. Thanks.

But it is a very very very small place (like about the size of a 1 bedroom apartment) so go on a nice day so you can sit outside!!

I LOVE my husband's cheeseburgers.  We have friends that call him the "Burger Master".

The best cheeseburger anywhere is in the little town of Stockton, MO.  It is called a Squeeze Burger and you can only get it at The Squeeze Inn.  It has a "cheese skirt" that has to be served with a toothpick in the middle to keep it all together!  Delicious!!!  Also, the owner Ruth is a wonderful woman of faith whose passion is Christ, her family and helping pregnant woman choose an option other than abortion.  It is important to note too that you won't hear anything but K-LOVE on the radio when you are devouring your Squeeze Burger!

Hands down, the BEST cheeseburger in the USA is found in Louisville, KY at Homerun Burgers & Fries. Fresh Angus beef, never frozen, fresh buns, 25 toppings from which to choose, & most excellent fries as well. This is a family owned operation, with a high quality product.  Lisa & Eric, you must fly there today & have one!!! Take the whole family! They even have fabulous veggie burgers, for the vegetarian in the family.

I am prejudiced, but I think the best cheeseburgers are served in my home on Valentine's Day. Yes, they have seasoned beef cooked outside over hot coals. Yes, they have cheese - colby jack. Yes, they have fresh veggies - leaf lettuce, italian tomatoes, purple onions. And yes, they have pink, heart-shaped, homemade buns (and heart-shaped patties!). But the best thing is the fellowship that goes with them. We have done this for years and we have always invited people to share. We have had widow ladies, divorcees and their families, high school youth groups, or just other couples. It has become a great ministry and outreach . . . not to mention a great memory for my kids. What a fun way to share God's amazing love!

The best ever is a Louisville, Ky local favorite, HOMERUN BURGERS AND FRIES! Fresh Black Angus Beef, lots of free toppings and hand cut french fries. My fave combo is with bacon, coleslaw, roasted red peppers and grilled onions. Great baseball themed atmosphere too!

Gotta go with the Juicy Lucy (or Jucy Lucy) either at Matts Bar or the 5-8 Club on the south side of Minneapolis.  2 1/4# patties seamed together with a "hunk-o-cheese" in the middle.  Can you say gooey lava!!  They both claim to be the originator and each has it's fan club.  My opinion is both are outstanding for CB indulgence.

The best cheeseburger is in Madison, IN at Hinkle's resturant. Hinkle Burgers are similar to White Castle burgers only bigger and better! Hinkles has been in business here in Madison forever! Yum!

I LOVED the burgers at Blueberry Hill in St. Louis.  They are actually nationally known for their burgers.  I'm also a fan of an old diner in Troy, OH.  I don't remember the name of it, but it's downtown, near the turnabout and reminds me of a diner from the 40's or so.

hands down . .the best cheeseburger I have ever had was in Anchorage AK at a restaruant called Humpy's.  Thick sliced grilled pineapple, a seseame terriyaki sauce and cheese! Out of this world!!   Well worth the trip!

The best burger I have ever had is a Brick Burger from The Brick a small pub in Jonesville, IN between Seymour and Columbus.  You order it how you like it.

$5.00 Burger Night at ROUND THE BEND STEAKHOUSE in South Bend, NE is the best hamburger around these parts.  TJ Olson is the best "cooker" and he has a verse that he has written up above his cooking station that reminds him everyday that his family owned restaurant is GOD'S and he gets the priveledge of cooking his burgers and steaks for their customers.

There are two places that I believe have the best burgers, the first one is Five Guys Burgers and Fries. They have really good food and I think that their prices are pretty reasonable as well.

The second place that I think has good burgers is Primanti Bros. in Pittsburgh. Their food is so good there!

The best cheeseburger can be found at a small hometown place called White Grill in Nevada, MO.  They have been there for over 50 years and still serve the best cheeseburger while you can watch them grill it for you.  They are great! and while you are there you have to try a homemade Vanilla Coke.  They are the best around also.  Stop by and try one, your tummy will be glad you did!!!

i have 2 FAVORITE burgers 1 of them is... fast food burger... The best cheeseburger by far is at Little Mike's Hamburgers in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He has both regular and buffalo burgers but the buffalo burgers are by far the best.  He uses fresh meat, not frozen, and grills them on a flat top with lots of onions.  They are the best I have ever had and never greasy.  

The atmosphere in the place is great, he puts up quotes from famous and not so famous people.

I have been going here since they opened about 10 years ago,  Mike and his 3 kids all work here.  The kids have worked here during high school and college and now have graduated college.  It has been interesting to watch them grow up and I they make everyone feel like family when you come in.  They call your name not a number when your order is ready, they no longer ask for my name when I go in.

In 2003 due to a brain illness, I lost all of my taste and smell.  So at this point, the TEXTURE is the very most important thing when eating.  The best cheeseburger around is when you fry it in the skillet, then put on 2 slices of Velveeta cheese 'til it melts.  Then place the bun on top of the cheese (while still in the skillet), then turn the stove off, and place a lid on top, to warm up and soften the bun.  It is luxurious texture.  Doctors told my family I probably wouldn't live, and if I did, I would be paralyzed.  They didn't know our family knows the Great Physician and I lived!!

Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Fort Collins, CO is where I've had the best burger I've ever tasted. In n' Out brings in second place. Whenever we travel to CA to visit family, In n' Out is our first stop driving up the California coastline because there aren't any in Colorado.

I work the night shift at our local hospital.  We were all tired and hungry one night and devised the ultimate cheeseburger.  We have had several get togethers and the HOWIE burger is always the most requested item.

A fresh burger patty topped with American, Swiss and Provolone Cheese, bacon, fresh sauteed mushrooms, and 4 cheese ranch dressing.  All on a toasted kaiser bun.

Best Cheesburger - Wallies Diner in Manteca, California.  Smallest is 1/4 pound, average is 1/3 pound.  Big, juicy, with grilled buns.  Home of the biggest hamburgers in the world.  Take the 3 pounder challenge - if you can eat it in 15 minutes, it's free, and you get your name on the board with your time score.  THe lowest was just over 7 minutes.  What do these guyes look like, I wonder?  The biggest burger is the Extreme, weighting in at 9 pounds, the size of a large pizza and feeds 10+ people!

The Bacon Cheddar Burger at Backyard Burger is my favorite cheese-burger.  I know they're here in the Kansas City area, but I think they may have a few in other areas too.  You've gotta try them if you can.  MMMMmmm amazing!  Pair it with their seasoned fries...you just can't beat it.  Hmmm, I've gotta have a coupon here somewhere!  When's lunch?

Two offerings for best cheeseburger. In Norfolk, Virginia, it would have to be Doumars. They still have curb service, a patent on the original ice cream cone, and Abe Doumar Sr. can still be found to have a chat with. Limeades are awesome. Five Guys have the best burgers because the meat has never been frozen and they form the patty after you order. Fresh meat with fresh veggies and placed on a non-typical bun makes for a wonderful burger. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

Best burger is 5 guys burgers and fries.  They are the best and I can eat them while on the weight watchers plan.  It is a lot of point, but oh so worth everyone of them.

Our favorite burger is from Hawg Dawgs in Valley Springs Ca. Jeff Solari hand grounds his own meat. His Santa Fe is hot with Jalepenos and his Western is with large batter dipped onion rings. The 1/3lb is pretty filling....the 2/3 is a double stack that will make you burst!

We also love the Pesto chips!

San Antonio may be known for the Alamo, the Riverwalk,Tex-Mex, and the Spurs, but it is also the Cheeseburger capitol of the world, or at least Texas.  Out of a long list of excellent burger joints including EZ's, Chester's, and Cheesy Jane's, one that stands out is Sam's Burger Joint on Broadway.  These burgers are SOOOO big they brand the bun "Sam's".  Try the Swiss and Mushroom burger, it's great!  EZ's and Sam's are neck and neck on onion rings, and we're not talking the frozen out of a bag onion rings, these are the real, hand battered thing.  

Mannys Buckhorn Tavern in San Antonio, NEW MEXICO has the BEST green chile cheeseburger ever....they beat Bobby Flay in a throwdown on his tv show and GQ magazine said they were #7 on the list of 20 cheeseburgers you must try before you die! Awesome!

Primante Brothers in the Strip District--Pittsburgh.  Once you've had one, nothing else will do.  Huge cheeseburger on a bun, piled high with coleslaw and fries!!!  They WON'T make it any other way, so don't even ask for slaw and fries on the side...they'll laugh in your face.  Primate Brothers has been featured on the food network.  Make the trip to the 'burgh, you'll never forget it.

Get past the name and you'll find a great burger in West Lafayette, In at the Triple XXX family diner. All of the burgers are great but my favorite is the Purvis burger. And, down in Louisville,Ky, my hometown, a place called Genny's Diner you can try the Sweet Daddy Burger. That is, if you can get your hands around it.

my fav would have to be Billy's Burgers in Jackson Hole, Wyoming!!!!(come visit!) and one more that has the ultimate would be In and Out Burger!

MY DAD!! we were fairly poor growing up and didn't have money for extravantances such as eating out.  so my dad invented his own burger and called it the 'Big Tig' (b/c my maiden name, his last name, is Tignor)it is awesome. fresh beef w/ all the fixins an the topper is cole slaw on it!! i havent had a 'Big Tig' in years but planning on a home visite in 2 weeks. i might have to rustle one up for him this time!!!

The best cheeseburger in West Virginia is at Fat Patty's in Huntington, West Virginia.  It is located beside Marshall University.  All of the burgers are great, but the Black and Bleu is by far the best.

The best burger in the US is from a chain in East Tennessee called Pal's. For maximum satisfaction try the Big Pal with Cheese, Frenchie Fries, and a large Sweet Tea. It's the best burger you will ever taste.

Steak and Shake!!  Even one guy from Food Network said Steak and Shake for burgers on the show The Best Thing I ever ate.  Thats what got me to try it, now its my fave for burgers!  Second to that is Red Robin!

The best burger is Town Topic on Broadway in Kansas City, MO.  It's a tiny place, mostly standing room only, and almost always at that level of business.  They have great burgers, and if you like onions, they put the onion on the burger on the grill, so as the burger is cooking, the onion cooks into it.  YUM!  My parents used to eat there in their youth, and now I take my 15 year old there.  It's a classic in KC.

The best hamburger to get is a green chile cheeseburger from Manny's Buckhorn in San Antonio, NM.  Let's just say it went up against a hamburger made by none other than Bobby Flay and won!  If you ever get to NM it is certainly worth the stop in to have one.

The best burger around is called a "Bubba Burger". It is at the Hometown Market in Grand Rivers Kentucky. I have never has a burger as amazing as this one ever and never will you.

If you like peanut butter, then you have to come to West Lafayette, Indiana and try the Duane Pervus Burger at either Triple X Family Restaurant (don't let the name fool you, it is anything but triple X) or at Route 66 Restaurant. The Pervus is served on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato, cheese, onions, and peanut butter. Get it with a side order of fries and Route 66/Triple X's famous root beer float to make it a meal that you won't soon forget!!

In Hopkinsville Ky, on Main Street you will find a tiny little burger spot decked out in bright green and white. This place had become a tradition for families in and from our town for generations. People from there will travel miles just to get a sack full of Ferrell's burgers!! Gotta try a FERRELL'S Burger! I recommend the double-cheese burger, actually. It is a toss up between several of the gourmet cheeseburgers on the menu at "Toro" in El Paso, TX.  By far the best I have ever had (although In-n-Out serves a pretty good "regular cheeseburger")

I think Backfire BBQ in Kansas City KS has the best cheeseburger.  It is 8 oz of delight.  The restaurant has an Orange County Chopper theme.  It has great food and a great price.  Check it out.They have a couple of burgers but this one is my favorite.  Every burger comes with their pickled onions and pickles made in house.  Awesome.

His are even better than the cheeseburgers at Manny's Buckhorn in San Antonio, New Mexico....and they come with the BEST homemade fries!

The best cheeseburger/hamburger I've ever had and crave is from Chester's - A drive-in restaurant in Plymouth Wisconsin.  It's amazing!

There is a little place here in San Angelo,Texas called Charcoal House. Ultimate cheeseburger. 2nd place in San Angelo is Julio's really good cheeseburger.

Mason's Grill!!!!!  They also have Louisiana's Best Burger!!  The Cajun Shrimp Burger!  It is awesome!

So I have eaten many of these burgers even at the dive bar in Bristol,IL an yeah its a good burger... But it is not the Sir Alfie Cheeseburger at Alfie's in Glen Ellyn, IL.  I just doesn't get any simpler than a big slab of meat cooked to order with a slice of cheese(american, swiss, cheddar...your choice) the only other option is the onions; grilled or not. Then it is all assembled on the worlds best bun sprinkled with corn meal. Some times the simpler it is the better it tastes...

There is NO PLACE that has a better burger than Louis Lunch in New Haven, CT!  They invented the burger in 1900 and have been making them ever since using the same recipe and the same gas grills.  

Don't expect fancy surroundings as they are still in the same building.  The place seats maybe 12 folks and there is always a line out the door.

The burgers are cooked in the old vertical gas grills using beef that is ground on site daily.  The sandwiches are served on white toast topped with a spreadable cheese, onions and tomatoes.  No ketchup is allowed in the place and none is needed!  

The meal wouldn't be the same without a glass of Foxon Park Birch Beer either.  This stuff is like Root Beer but not nearly as sweet and you can only find this stuff in Connecticut.

Louis was voted the #1 place to chowdown in America by The Travel Channel as well as being featured on other Hamburger specials.

Red Robin (bacon) cheeseburger!!  Doesn't get any better than that!

No Question About It, Kutchie Pelaez of Kutchie's Key West Kutcharitaville Cafe' Serves "The World's Greatest Cheese Burgers". Even Jimmy Buffett has stated that Kutchie's makes his favorite Cheese Burgers and that those Goody Goody Cheese Burgers are better than the one's at Cheese Burgers in Paradise. He also has said that Kutchie's Key Lime Pies are the Best One's In The World.
  I have a question that someone here may have the answer too. That Movie that "Don Rickles" made "Wasting Away Again In Kutcharitaville", was that film made in the 70's or was it in the 80's? We just can't seem find the information about it anywhere. We remember hearing Don talking about it on the "Johnny Carson Show" years ago.
  By the way, it sure didn't couldn't have hurt Kutchie's Key Lime Pie Business having "Carson and Rickles" both spouting-out about how great they are and how much they loved them right there on national TV. That alone had to be worth a $Million Dollars, wouldn't you say?
