YAY!  I wish I could be there!

Good morning Lisa and Eric,

I went to church when I was younger and started going with my friend and her family when my mom stopped going to church. I went with my friend was baptized when I was 11 yrs old.  Stopped going about age 13 and stopped when she moved. Always believed in God just wasn’t living for Christ. Married 3 kids later ,wasn’t in church, my god was a little white ball with red stitches when my kids started playing little league. Started having marriage problems we had 3 sons, age 6,9 and 13. Husband and I separated and was separated almost 7 months when he passed away, unexpected. Boys still played baseball and a friend of Joseph’s my middle son invited him to church. His parents came and picked him up every Sunday morning for about 3 or 4 weeks. Then Sunday morning came I was waking Joseph up to go to church and he said “I wish we could all go as a family.” I felt so ashamed and told him next Sunday we will all go as a family. We did and been going ever since, sermons felt like was speaking directly to me no one else in the room. My Father in heaven spoke to me through my 9 yr old son said come back to me! Within 6 months being back in church I surrendered I was rebaptized and about 6 months later all 3 sons were baptized too! I praise God because He pursues us, even sometimes through a child, who we often consider the weaker ones. Kids don’t be afraid to speak, always speak truth sometimes your words are powerful!

1 Corinthians 1:27 “ But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.”

He must become more, i must become less

to jeff allen,  just a reminder that jesus saves the people around us because we belong to him and he has mercy on those who don't know the truth about god. So I believe with you that your father is standing before god feeling what real love is all about. God bless you. As the song was playing while I was typing god is love and has come for us all. I hope this helps you dealing with his death.
