WOW, God - The Christmas Story

Lisa, I wanted to clarify a couple of things about your wow GOD moment with the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ. There is no biblical account of there being three wise men but lots of people like to say that. Also to say that there was a "house" in Bethlehem is grossly candy coating the biblical account of a manger which is an eating traugh that animals feed from let alone the surrounding area around the manger.Please take a look at Lukes account of this.A good read about this is John Macarthur's pamphlet "Six ways Satan is stealing Christmas. My seasonal WOW GOD moment has shown me the mercy, compassion, and Love that God has for me.

Last Wednesday, the night before Thanksgiving, my wife had dropped a bomb shell on me. She told me that she has been cheating on me with my best friend and ex partner from my police department.

I was a mess with my emotions, logic, and faith! I aways considered myself a man of fatih, but I never felt I heard God speak to me in my life. I would believe that he was at work, but I never heard him speak to me.

During this chaos, I felt that something was laid on my heart. It was new, and overpowering! I didn't know at first, and I even fought it. But it was GOD! He was telling what to do, and I didn't know it, but I was fighting with God because I didn't want to do what being i was told.

God didn't give up on me, and He laid on my heart again what I was to do! This time, it came with a peace! I stepped back and finaly let God take total control. I have complete peace that everything will work out, and for his glory!

God told me to forgive my wife and my friend. He told me not to be angry and to show understanding and love for them both.

God wanted me to tell them both that He loves them as well, and that it would all be ok!

So, as hard as this has been, I told both my wife and my friend, that I forgave them, and so does God if they ask. I shared with them that God loves them and cares for them both. I told them that God wanted them to know, that however things played out, that everything would be ok!

God came to me in my darkest hour. An hour that I might have hid from Him most. But He knew my heart and who I was! God is great, He loves me and cares enough about me to seek me out first before I went down a road that wasn't good.

I don't know how this will pan out for me, and the pain eases as the days go by, but God is good, and has a plan for me! The peace He gives me shows me hope, and for that I can rest easy.

God said, Love your enemy and give him drink. God tells us to lead with gentleness and compassion. I thank God so much for showimg me this, and helping me to do the same!

This "Wow, God" story is not mine but it was told to me by someone. There is this little girl who was put into a foster home and this woman (a CASA worker) visited her often and the CASA had planned to tell her about Jesus and well they were painting a tea pot for the girl's bday and out of the blue the girl said "Jesus Loves Me." (the girl was 4 yrs old) the Casa responded "yes, he does." a moment passed and the CASA said "who told you that?" the girl said "He did." another minute passed and the CASA asked her if her grandpa told her and the little girl said "no, i told you HE did." and the CASA asked again "did your foster parents tell you?" and the girl said "No, i already told you HE did, like this..." the girl got up out of her chair and cupped her hands next to the CASA'a ear like she was going to tell a secret and whispered "Jesus loves you".. then the girl proceeded to say "The STARS came into my window and told me Jesus Loves Me." the CASA was astonished and asked when this happened and the girl told her it was right when she was brought to the foster home. Isn't that just like God to comfort a child when they are scared to death and in an unknown place?

This has happened to me several times now but the first time is whenI just knew that GOD loves me and he does answer prayers!
We were deep in debt, my wife had lost her job and we did not have the money to make our house and car payment.  We needed $693.00 and had asked everyone but no one could help...then, I prayed with all my heart for GOD to help us.  I was a contest player...always sending in 3X5 cards somewhere for some contest...2 days later we received a letter in the mail...we had won 1 prize is a contest and in that letter was a check for $700!!!  Things like this has happened several times in our lives, and more proof...always for just what we needed.  It was proof positive that GOD does hear our prayers and I testify to that fact all the time.

First of all I want to give all GLORY & HONOR to
our ALMIGHTY GOD. HE is the STAR of all world. My
story was that years ago I had several abortions
but then GOD ALMIGHTY gave me son name JoshuaJoel
I ask HIM for a son than I ask HIM if possible may
my son be born on Christmas Day or New Year's Day
well my son was born on 01-01-1982. To say this
is our GOD is so FAITHFUL and so FORGIVING to me
for all the abortions I had not only did HE deliver me from murder but gave me inner healing
as well so I am so thankful to A MIGHTY GOD we
serve. My son is going to be 29 yrs old lives
in Burbank Calif. works as a financer for Wells
Fargo will be marrying his girlfriend of 15 yrs.
and has two white bichon frise. So I am bless for
making the right choice on keeping my baby. I also
have a wonderful daughter AnnMarie who is 39 & my
granddaughter MarinaLee who is 20 so what a STAR
my JESUS is in my life Thank you King Jesus.
