A Soldier, His Son and Baseball - A Beautiful Surprise

A soldier home on leave from Iraq had a big surprise for his 8-year-old son Monday night.  Kyle Auditore knew he would see his dad for the first time in six months, but he had no idea that his father, a specialist with the New Hampshire Army National Guard, would make it to his junior baseball all-star game until his Dad Scott walked onto the field and threw Kyle the ceremonial first pitch.

This video is what it is like when we have been living alone, separated from our Heavenly Father. In the midst of our loneliness we turn and find Him near to us--where He has been all along--waiting for us to accept His love. We run to Him with arms held up in eager anticipation and he lifts us up in a big bear hug, so glad to have us back in His family!
