Yesterday, you got a taste of one of the Morning Show hosts, now's your chance to get to know another part of the team. Listen on Friday morning as JD Chandler unveils the new K-LOVE Morning Show!

  • I grew up in Seattle, Washington but went to school in Arkansas, and have navigated the country working at about every type of radio station possible before finally, I relented to God's plan for me to be in Christian radio.
  • I have a wife and two kids; the oldest of which has overcome a heart defect while still being diagnosed as profoundly deaf, having cerebral palsy, and a visual impairment. Join us in praying for God's healing touch!
  • My last name is really goofy and funny sounding that was once sort of embarrassing

Now you know who I am, share your family photo with us by tagging the K-LOVE Morning Show Facebook Page

Welcome to K-Love =) I just wanted to say welcome and wish you well. I have a great respect for parents of children with special needs, it sounds like your wife is amazing. I am a single mother of two boys with Autism and a little girl, and it always heartens me to hear others speaking so highly and proudly of their children with and without special needs. I pray God blesses you and that you and your family are used in his name!

It is great to have a Morning Show on the radio that has good Christian values.  Even Christians have a sense of humor.  We Welcome You All from El Paso, Texas.

So glad to hear a familiar voice from Humble. I grew up listening to KSBJ and felt like I was losing a part of myself when I had to leave the station that I so enjoyed listening to for over 26 years. I am really happy that I get the privilege to hear you again. God works in the best ways. He knows what He is doing and He gives us the best blessing when we least expect them. It makes us having to have moved a bit easier now. I needed an uplifting moment. Thank you Lord.  Welcome Mike to KLOVE. Smile

Great to have you! I live in Arkansas and have all my life! Where in Arkansas did you go to school? Having a handicap child must be hard-I pray you will have to energy and strength to be the dad God wants you to be for her. I pray for her healing too! Good luck!!

I came out to the Bay Area from Houston a few months ago to work and found Klove as a substitute for KSBJ.  Who would have known that I still found you here!  You can't forget a name like that!

I can certainly sympathize about crazy last names.  I had to endure decades with the last name Hooker.  What made it worse as a girl was my dad had gotten the nick name "Happy" because he was so joyful.  So I became known as Denise the "Happy Hooker's Daughter".  Needless to say marrying into a German last name that most can't even pronounce for me has been ions better!
GO Kankelfritz
