I just woke up to hear JD talking to the new morning show dj's, and I had to laugh over Kankelfritz's comment about embracing his German last name.  My last is Krapfl, which causes a lot of trouble for me when meeting new people.  It's actually pronounced like "Krupful", but most people don't get that right. Like Kankelfritz, at least I know a telemarketer immediately!  I'm excited to get to learn more about you guys on the morning show.  I absolutely love my KLOVE station and can't imagine living without it.  Thanks for all the positive, encouraging, powerful ministry you guys provide to the world.  God Bless us All!

This is just hysterical!!!!  Does this mean Amy moved to Indy also? Wasn't she in Ohio? These guys seem like they will be a lot of fun! I hope they do take at least one thing from JD though... I absolutely LOVE that he stops right where he is and prays for callers when they need it. I just think it's so amazing and a great example of how we should all be as Christians!!!

Since I was in college in College Station, Texas I have listened to Mike on the morning show at his previous station.  I am now working in San Antonio, Texas and my office mate, June, and I listened to that station all day, every day online.  She, an avid KLOVE listener, became well acquainted with the Kankelfritz name.  When Mike decided to leave his last station, June heard me lament over losing a member of "my" morning team and she did the same over the changes at the KLOVE morning show.  Today, she runs in the office and says "Guess who's on the new KLOVE morning show? MIKE KANKELFRITZ!" So happy you've found a new home, Mike and I'll be tuning in to KLOVE now on my morning commute.  God bless!

JD, I'm sorry to hear that you are leaving the morning show, I just wanted to take minute of your time to tell you thank you for you love, compassion, prayers and most of all your strong faith in Jesus. May God bless you and your family on this new journey. We love you Brother.  

Wow, what a change has happened.  First we had John and Sherry; then Lisa and Eric; then JD, now a threesome.  I like the video but hopefully you will lose the last name and have everyone go by their first names.  We're all adults here and we are really just focused on seeking the Lord and lifting up his name.  Hope you can make a three-way work.  Seems like a really crowded studio.  God bless.

I will miss JD however, we are told to press forward so full speed ahead to the new team. Looking forward to encouraging words of prayer and ministry and of of course the laughs. God has a wonderful sense of humor and He loves us so much it's had not to bubble over with Joy even though our world is falling apart. I pray in Jesus name that listeners will be flipping channels and discover God's love shown through this radio ministry. At work I am able to think on what is good, true, lovely and even sing out once in awhile    WELCOME!!!!!!

I know change is hard as we just moved due to the military but I have to say this one @ KLOVE has my attention and laughter and prayer.  God is in all things. I know this morning show crew will bless those who are listening. May y'all be blessed as well!

I have been listening to K-Love since Jon and Sherry Rivers were on in the mornings...I've loved every morning team that's been on since, and I'm looking forward to hearing you all in the mornings (that is when I've not got my laptop on blaring Christmas music!)

We just got our KLOVE station a month ago. And my radio in my truck always stays on it! I love listening to JD on the way to school everyday! God Bless you JD! Thank's for your love and encouragement to all of us!

I miss the days when Larry Wayne and JD Chandler were the KLOVE Morning Show and then the KLOVE Afternoon Show. I wish that Larry and JD would be on together again either on KLOVE or Air1.

Just wanted to let JD know that he has been my personal trainer for the last two months.  I get up early to walk on the treadmill and have KLOVE turned up loud for motivation.  JD always seemed to choose just the right music to get me motivated to start my day as a teacher.  Sure will miss you!

Hi I miss Jon and Sherry, now Lisa and Eric. The morning show has been a huge part in my life.

I am so thrilled to have Amy as part of the Morning show. Change is very hard for me and I feel this show change has affected my life. I am glad that at least Amy someone I feel I know will be on. As for the two new guys I have my opinion but I will give it a try and listen to the show because of Amy.

Wow! So many changes! I have missed each of the morning show people as they have left, but JD I think I will miss you most. Such a blessing you and Amy have been to me these last few months on my way to work. I was even able to speak with you one morning about a beautiful sunrise I saw. Thank you so very much and my God bless you and your family as you move. Thank goodness Amy is still there. Sweet Amy I just love your voice, it just calms me so as I face responsibliities at work.I am very excited to hear the new guys and know that God is in this.  Thank you KLOVE. Welcome Morning Crew!  Love seeing the pictures of your families.  God's Blessing to all of you.  I see where Kankelfritza has a child in a wheel chair.  I have a son who has only known the wheel chair as his legs (his legs were amputated when he was 6 from the knee down, but it saved his life due to that he had only 1/2 spine and legs crippled up, they used his tibea bone to create a new spine). Through our God who is still in the miracle business,he is now 30 years old, he has graduated Penn State, gotten himself off Disability and works a full time job. He is my HERO.  Our God is BIG enouch to take care of all of us.  Again Welsome!!!!!

Left the house at 6:10 for my 20 minute commute and 18 minutes of it was music. What a great way to start the day. Luv u guys...this is gonna be FUN !!

I was listening to you guys this morning talking about how when your son is at his grandparents house he will eat everything! my son is 5 and when he is home with mommy and daddy he wants nothing but chicken and french fries and sprite, but when he is with my mom and sister or my husbands mom he will eat anything they put in front of him with no arguing! it amazes me lol!

Those of us, of German descent need to stick together Mr. Kanklefritz! Welcome to you all. Glad to hear Amy doing more than the news! I do miss Eric and Lisa but I am already blessed and entertained by this new team! You sound like you have all been at this forever! I work for the Salvation Army. Working in a Christian workplace is the best. It makes the difficulties of those first few days/weeks much more tolerable when you have co-workers who pray for you and with you. Best wishes and I hope your families arrive very soon.

I was going to say after listening to this, the two guys remind so much of two funny DJs we have in Austin Texas Now after listening to the hole thing and hearing Ya'll matching Texas, no wonder.Y'all our from here and ya'll defiantly have the Texas personalty.. This is cool this is going to make me listen to the K'Love morning show more often. I liked Lisa and Eric a lot. But Texas people just make me laugh.

Well, I had to do it; I had to come on your web page in order to find out if "Kankelfritz" was Amy's last name, or what the deal was!  I thought maybe she was saying her whole name, but then I kept hearing 3 voices on-air....so, now my confusion is cleared up!!  And having lived in Germany for 6 years, Kankelfritz sounds like a normal name to me, lol!  I loved reading your bios, and as a family with a special needs child as well, I know we will be ministered to through your broadcasts.  Sounds like we are in for great times on your new show, thanks for being a part of our morning!

Praise God!!!  You have blessed my day more than you know.  First of all, I hate change, too.  I even hate it when we have to change our clocks - which we did this past weekend!  I have prayed that KLove would anchor its morning team in Indy ever since we lost Eric and Lisa.  We are HONORED to have you all here.  I think I heard you say that you were in Indy and my heart sang out - Praise God, Thank you, Jesus for answering my prayers!!  Indy is a GREAT town - especially the southside!  Many of us are southern transplants on the southside and we are sooo happy to have you all here!! I will be praying that you can make the transition smoothly and that you and your families can get settled in okay.  They look like beautiful families and we thank you so much for coming here!!  We are kind of in a slump right now with the disappointments of Peyton and our Colts - and now the shutdown of the Pacers...but hearing you say "Indy" this morning lifted my spirits more than you will ever know!  WELCOME TO INDY!!

I just wanted to let you know i live in Port Lavaca Texas and listened to you on KSBJ in Port Lavaca, Victoria and traveling to Houston. I have been praying for your next journey or chapter and also disappointed that i would not hear you and your inspiring messages every again.  Well, not so.  I have an office in San Antonio and in McAllen, Texas and i am able to pick up KLove and have been listening to it while on the road away from KSBJ. I listened to you on KSBJ in Houston, TX   As I was driving this morning I heard someone on the radio mention Abby who has special needs...It caught my attention since I remember you sharing your stories about your daughter.  What a blessing!  Any way...
My husband & I recently moved here (this past Aug) from the Houston area to start or new mission project:  Christiansonmission.org   We are currently located in Farmingdale, NY on Crossroads Church of Long Island property.   We are going to try to start some type of "Transplanted Texans" to get together  
to share their stories.

And you all seem to work well together as a team!
But, when I heard that a new team was coming to the morning show, I was really hoping that Jon & Sheri Rivers would be returning to K-Love!!
Needless to say I was very disappointed when they unveiled the team on Friday morning!!
I would also like to know why Kankelfritz doesn't use his first name?! I'm sure it's a fine German name but, it really sounds weird every time I hear it on the air!! For some unexplainable reason hearing it just seems to make me want to cringe every time!!
I'm sorry!! But I was really looking forward to hearing Jon & Sheri again!! I really miss them!!

Well, figured you all would like some feedback since you have started.  First, of all, thank you all for your willingness to serve the Lord.  I think Craig needs to throttle back on the humor.  Not every line has to be funny.  Seems forced at times.  Amy is great and it is nice to hear her doing the news again.  She is pleasant to listen to.  I think Mike should use his first name.  That is why it is called a "first" name.  The last name thing is novel for a while but then it loses its use.  You are more personal when people know your first name.  Lastly, we need more of Mike and less of Craig. It seems like Craig is the main show and the other two are just straight men for his, at times, forced humor.  Balance is key with three folks trying to share the mic.  Frankly, we hear Mike so little, that it makes me wonder what he is there for.  Eric and Lisa were able to do it and Scott and Kelly do a good job of acheiving balance.  Time to share the stage and let eveyone have a chance to share the air.  God bless.
