I heard you say today was a day of Praise.  I'm praising God this morning because my 7 year old accepted Jesus as Savior yesterday during church service.  I've not felt so joyful since the day I was saved.

I am a long time donor, so I have been listening to Air1, not KLOVE, during the pledge drive. But I was listening this morning and hearing your comparison of donors to the good Samaritan and I was reminded of a quote...it's written on a napkin and kept in my Bible...I don't even remember where I heard it, but it speaks to me every now and then and I wanted to share it.
"GOD SOMETIMES CALLS YOU TO PLANT SEEDS FOR SHADE TREES THAT YOU WILL NEVER SIT UNDER--A PLACE OF REST FOR SOMEONE ELSE."
Isn't that just what we do when we support KLOVE?? I picture it in my mind as tending this seed, watering it, then trimming the tree as it grows...and then leaving it for someone else to rest under. I picture it as one of those weeping willows, the ones that they delicate branches fall over and surround you...kinda like the arms of our loving Savior! KLOVE came into my life years ago and I have never stopped listening, it adds so much to my Christian walk. It keeps good stuff going in so that good stuff will come out! The last year has been painful and difficult...the loss of my Dad...and the loss of my husband. Basically, the further away from God he got, the further away from me he got until finally he was unrecognizable...falling back into some issues he had struggled with in his past...I never thought he would treat my son and me the way he did and do the things he has done. But I know my strength comes from my Lord and He will make beauty from all of this. I am blessed to be surrounded by a loving family and loving friends and church family.I know KLOVE is a tool of God and I will always support KLOVE, just as you all support me. Thanks for all you do.
