Bart, thank you so much for sharing your experience with your weight loss surgery! I had it done almost 3 years ago. Its was the best thing i have ever done for myself, but it was the hardest thing i have ever done! I had lost 140 pounds.. I have 60 to go.. everyday is a struggle and a challange and food is always an obsticle. I wouldn't trade my worst day after surgery for the best day before I had it done! Blessings to you!

As a Bariatric nurse, I so enjoyed your interview and hearing your perspective of having surgery. Through listening to you, God has shown me even MORE opportunities available to me in my workplace to minister to our patients. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks to Bart for sharing his experience with bariatric surgery!  I had a sleeve gastrectomy on Dec. 6 of last year and have absolutely no regrets!  God has used this to release me from an addictive spirit which I noticed was gone as soon as I awoke from the surgery.  Praise God!!! Now I actually lose weight when I exercise! Thank you for advocating for those who can't lose weight simply by eating less and excercising more.  I've read articles in which the authors are referring to the sleeve and the bypass more as metabolic surgeries than weight loss surgeries.  Thanks and praise God for His  healing!!!
