Spending Time with Lysa Terkeurst on Unglued

sorry it took me so lone i guess i sent to a nother  k-love ,, yessssssssssss there are angles , i have seen 4 and talk to 3 , 2 in a fire , 1 at the cemetery a lady with a big hat ,and   1 ,when i had to go into hospital , a nurse stayed with me , i was told no can stay in surgery , i saw here and her name was Billy, only she didnt have the same nurse uniforme ... thay told me there no nurse named Billy ..she told me she took the nurse course and was in a very bad car acsedent and was of on leave and was back to finish her course,,   the 4, one wore armer on his body never said a word , it was 3 or so am i woke and then he apeard, very very tall . eys blue   yess yess tere are angles , many shape and sizes  ,,, cleo

God is so Good! I recently went through another conflict with my husband of 3 years, this time it was witnessed by my 19 year old son, this is what has brought me to my knee's I have asked God to help me recognize what I should do when faced with conflict with my husband.
I become defensive imediately and try to stand my ground instead of seeing things his way. This makes things worse instead of better.
Then my prayers were answered while listening to K-Love Yesterday and this morning. You are visiting with Lisa Terkeurst on her book "Unglued" it is exactly what I am searching for!! and I need her book right now!! how can I get it? Please!!

We have a 23, almost 24 year old son who is a recovering drug addict.  He is living at home with us because he is not very strong emotionally and mentally right now, he has walked away from his friends and we are pretty much his support and his best friends.  I come unglued because although he is 23 years old he sometimes acts like he is 12, we have tried to set out boundaries for him, responsibilities, etc. but he just doesn't listen.  We can't tell him to get out because we are afraid he is too vulnerable and will go back to using.  He hasn't been able to find a job so he is feeling very worthless and like he is a failure and a huge disappointment.  He does go to counseling.  I am not the most patient person, I try to be calm and reasonable when I talk to him but sometimes I just lose it and I end up raising my voice, sometimes I speak before I think and then I go off and ask God to forgive me.  I don't know what to do.  I tried to call in and talk to Lisa but the lines are always busy and I am at work.  I would love a copy of her book.  And I appreciated the advice she gave another woman this morning about asking God for perspective on how to cope with what she was dealing with.  I have told my son that I know God has a plan for him and that everything he and we are going through is part of his plan but it is easy sometimes to wonder when the plan is going to take shape!  Thank you and may God Bless you.

I love what Lisa said this week about how we compare our "inside" to other people's "outside".  I think that is what makes me feel unglued because when I am focused on all that I'm not, then I can't see the truth of what God says I am.  Satan doesn't necessarily need us living in abject sin - if he can just get us to take our focus off of Christ living in us and the amazing power that is available, he knows we will not be effective for the kingdom, and we won't have the joyful and peaceful life available to us.
