I think that there were very inappropriate ones...taking into consideration that there were probably 8 year olds in front of the TV. I loved the Tim Tebow one!

Didn't anybody but us see the first ad of the night with the guy asking his dog to speak and receive a Doritos chip? The dog had a shock bark collar on and wouldn't speak. So the dog removes the collar and puts it on the guy and barks shocking the guy as he rolls on the ground in pain. It was the best ad of the night in my opinion.

I still like the etrade babies.  An adult voice and conversation coming from a baby is humorous.  I was a little put off by the Black charger for men also.

Not really a statement on the super bowl, per say, however, read it and you will see what i mean.
i wrote this and posted it to my face book, now sharing with all of you.
In Christ forever!!!

I heard a statement today...."Drew Brees is great at his talent and is even smart enough to use his talent as a platform to give God all the glory"

This is what you need to get from that statement, you need to use your voice to speak. Use your talent to touch lives. You need to mulitple the little to mean much.

Mary was a young girl, didnt say much, did the work her family told her too, wasnt anything but humble, and quiet. She was chosen to carry the creator of the world for a purpose, her talent was to give him a safe haven, a life line to this world, and to raise him as a man of God. She did it. She fully effectively used the God given talent to wipe his mouth when he was teething, to kiss his scraped hands when he fell, to encourage him to do his talent when the time came.

So if you are a mom, a dad, a secretary, a trash collector, a teacher, a doctor, a lawyer, work at mcdonalds..........IT DOES NOT MATTER what your platform is.....it matters how you perform when you are on it.

It seemed like a lot of commericals with men in their underwear.  What is up with that?

I loved the Doritos commercial where the dog puts the bark collar on the human & starts barking to shock the human especially since the human was teasing the dog earlier. The party I was at loved it!!!

I liked the Doritos ones, but there were was a very inappropriate one that we were discusted with, it was the GoDaddy one, with these girls being sleazy, Like "I can tell you what hot is" and the girl rips her shirt of to reveal a tight low "Go Daddy" shirt. Frown

My personal favorites were the Doritos commercials, too. I wish I had been able to see Tim Tebow's commercial, but I was out of the room when it was on.

I know that some thought that the Doritos commercials were good, but I personally thought they were overbearingly STUPID, and the one with the casket in the church was both STUPID AND SACRILEGIOUS!  Come on Christians stand up !!! Our thinking shouldn't be in the same commercial arena as the world.  Now isn't that a shock?

My favorites were the Budweiser and Doritos commercials.

My least favorites were the GoDaddy dot com commercials- VERY tasteless.  Frown

I expected alot sexual innuendo, and boy I was not disappointed! I did like the Tim Tebow commercial although it was to short I missed most of it...and The Budweiser Baby Bull & Colt about remaining friends years later had a nice message.  Shame on Danica Patrick & the Go Daddy ads I felt they were extremely trashy!!!

I thought the Go Daddy adds were very sleazy. They have to think about the kids that are watching the super bowl too.

I am truly amazed that sacrilege comes out ahead of sleaze.  I thought both were unholy.

The commercial that I thought was funny is

the one where the guy is telling his wife he would

do all the things she wants him to do but

she couldn't drive his car ( the name of the car ?)
but it was funny

I loved the Doritos one where the kid is telling the boyfriend to keep his hands of his mama! It was so cute! I also liked the one with the whale and the etrade babies and the google.com one. Also loved the Budweiser horse and bull. I was very unimpressed with the godaddy.com and the men-in-their-underwear commercials.

Most of them were really funny however I didn't like the conotation about guys being forced into relationships and trying to get out. I know that if I were in any of the situations of those guys I would be thanking God every day for the woman of my dreams actually wanting to be in a relationship with me.

not about commercials but ....
I thought it was gloriously awesome watching the post- game interviews and how much the players on both sides were sincere in giving credit to God, and how they have God in other aspects of their lives. Isn't it great when the most popular show ever seen can be yes a game, a commercial, but most importantly, a voice for God on international television where you wouldn't expect to hear about Him. Praise Jesus!!

I thought the game was better than the commercials this year!  I wasn't impressed by any of them.  Most of them seemed to insult our intelligence.  It's really a shame that a beer company comes up with the best commercials year after year.  I have to say my favorite was the horse and bull staying friends.  But seeing Brees holding his son and crying at the end and then saying God is great...wow, that was super!

I loved the one with the dog and shock bark collar, and the one with opra and the 2 tonight show guys.

David L: This is the worst party ever.
Opra: Now, be nice!
david's enimy: he's just saying that cuz im here.
David: (in high mimick-ey voice) he's just saying that cuz im here.

hahahah it was really funnieh u have to see it to get it. =D
