My pastor at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer gave me some profound words to contemplate on. His powerful sermon really made my somewhat of a bad day seem to be better. I couldn't be more happy to be at the congregation I am at. I am truly thankful for being in an environment that has helped me through the good and bad times.

I am listening to your show here in Colorado Springs, CO while I am at work.
I didn't make a difference in anyone's day but someone made a huge difference in mine. I am going through a divorce right now and I have two young boys that I am very concerned for. My mom, boys and myself were eating at a resaurant and a man walked by and said hello as he was throwing out his trash. My mom said hello back and when he sat back down, we caught eyes and smiled. He and his family got up to leave and he told one of his kids to go out with their mom and he came to our table and asked if we could use prayer for anything. I immediately teared up and told him I was going through a divorce. He prayed for us. He put his hands on my boys and prayed for safety. He prayed for forgivness for my husband. I never told him that I was afraid for my boys safety or that my husband cheated on me. He prayed to remove the pain and sorrow that he could see in my eyes. When he said amen, he told me God would shine through all of this and turned to walk away but then came back and said that he would pray for deliverance for my husband. I couldn't believe it. I am going through an awful time right now and I had felt so removed from God and then this happened. I am beyond thankful for this person God brought to me and my family. Thank you to that person for having the courage to ask and to God for speaking directly to me.

It wasn't on Monday, but yesterday I ran out of gas while shopping for thanksgiving dinner items.
A very good friend named Joy came to my rescue and stay with me in bitter cold until she knew my car was running agian.
God Bless Joy.
