I'm trying to make a difference when I go into work tonight. I'm a nurse and I always try to make a difference for my patients even if its something as simple as bringing them a warm blanket.

I know today is make a difference monday but I was able to make a diference yesterday. My mother-in-law was out of town this week for Easter and her brother was here with us. So when I made our Easter baskets I made sure to get him one. I put it on his dresser before he woke up in the morning. He was so happy to see that we had remembered him too. He doesn't get a treat like that very often so it really touched him.

I'm trying to make a difference in A very small town
I am planting A garden and donating the produce to
A food bank and I would like to challenge other

I have to priveledge of teaching the Cubbies in my church's Awana program every MOnday night. I have from 6-10 3 and 4 years olds who are learning the word of God. It is amazing to watch them learn and grow in God's word and to see them begin to quote scripture to me.

My pastor's wife at a Vineyard church in Richmond Kentucky help me get thru a day that started out with me wanting to do self harm. We talked and she prayed, and I left her house feeling God had lightened my load and I no longer feel the need to hurt myself.

WE have always taught our 4 children at home. We teach the usual classes, but from thrid grade on, they copy the Bible out verse by verse. They also have to have some kind of volunteer work. Our 16 yr old helps with the church food ministry, our 14 year old works with the church hot meals. The 12 year old assists with a clothing ministry, and the youngest, 10,helps me with baking for people, visiting folks etc.. We are always looking for new ways to reach out.

This morning my husband brought my lunch to work for me. We had both stayed up late the night before, doing more important things than packing our lunches. So, I hadn't even packed it and just forgot it at home. He packed my lunch for me, and left early for work so he could drop it by my office on his way. I am so grateful that God put such a wonderful gentleman in my life, who takes such good care of me. Not only did it brighten my day, but I also got a full tummy because of it! Smile

Hey KLUV! First I want to thank y'all for your ministery. Next I just want to share what God is helping me do. I was molested repeatedly as a child. God is now helping me write several books, fiction & nonfiction. They deal with deep emotional pain & how He can help us through it if we allow Him to. It is my desire to use what the devil ment as my distruction, & turn it around to be used for God's glory!

Hey Guys!
my dad made a difference in my monday today.... Because of work i have to leave @ four or five in the morning and my dad gets home from work three hours before i get up..Since my dad is a dj he has alot of speakers and equipment in the garage so we all park our cars outside..However, this morning it was really dumping snow all night long. When i woke up, i went outside to get all the snow off my car, to find that when my dad got home he decided to move all of his equipment to one side of the garage and parked my car in the garage so i didnt have to stand in the freezing cold at 4 in the morning getting the snow off the car.. Because of him i didnt have to freeze this morning..i know its small but it totally made my day..i want him to know that i love him and thank him for the act of kindness he did this morning.

I'm a Pre-K teacher and when our field trip to the Christmas tree farm got canceled we took the money sent in and took the children out to lunch and then to the bowling alley.  Joe's (not his real name) dad was incredible, not only helping his own son, but becoming totally engaged with all of the kids on his team.  April 1st we took the class to a local park for an Easter egg hunt and again Joe's dad came along and, again, he was fantastic with the kids, playing hide and seek with all of them, pushing them on the swings, whatever it took.

Today when Joe's mother came to pick him up from school I told her that her husband gets the "Father of the Year" award and because of what he did on the field trips.  It's so unusual today to see a father so involved with not only his own child but others also.  She beamed, she was so proud.  It made me feel good to see how excited she was to hear it.

I hadn't heard from a good friend for many years.  When I finally reached her, she was at that moment completely broken and devastated.  She was grieving for her recently lost husband, she needed a job desperately and her car had no brakes.  Because I had some money from an income tax return, I was able to pay for the repair to her car so she was able to find work.

Id like to talk about who's made a difference in my life.  The band Casting Crowns has made a huge difference in my life! I grew up knowing who God is and yet somehow like many of us I chose to live a selfish life and do what I wanted to do instead of what God wanted me to do. Well my 3 year old started repeating music one day so I made the decision to listen to KLOVE and I started hearing a lot of Casting Crowns and it really began to tug on my heart and I felt Gods conviction on my heart..Then one day my daughter began singing along with Until the whole world hears! I was lucky in Oct. 2009 and Casting Crowns came to a near by church and I got to see them life and it was phenomenal! Well the one song that really gets me is praise you in this storm and this past Monday I felt like God was throwing me signs to check out this church close by so I road by and praise you in this storm came on at the same time and I felt this was Gods way of saying this is it this is where u should be so my husband and I and my daughter all went easter Sunday and I was blown away! If you could ever possibly relay the message please let the mebers of Casting Crowns know that they helped change my life!

I am an eleven year old girl. Every day I try to make a difference. I am one of the smarter girls in my class. So, every day, any chance I get, I try to help my classmates with class work. Today I helped my friend carry her things from class to class. The other day, she fell of a swing and now wears a sling. I can't wait to help out tomorrow! A boy is coming to shadow our school, and our teacher says he has some disabilities. Helping is like a hobby of mine.

Any time I see emergency lights or hear sirens I always pray for whomever is involved.  I pray for their healing, a swift resolution, and especially their salvation.  When we think of intercessory prayer we may generally consider those we know personally, but God hears and answers fervent prayers for strangers too.

i was driving my 19 year daughter around today in her first car.  We were running errands and trying to get her driving permit renewed.  This is why i was driving and not her.  We were listening to KLove and the Make a Difference Monday challenge on the radio as we bounced in and out of the car.  As we were getting back to the college and her dorm, she said she didn't get to make a difference to anyone today.  i just lost it crying, because she really did; to me.  First she dragged be back into a store at the mall (it took twice) to buy me a pair of pants i really needed, couldn't afford and wouldn't have bought for myself.  Secondly i have another wonderful memory of us sitting on a floor giggling in a store like 12 year-olds.  And most importantly, Megan is my dearest, best friend and anytime we get to share together is more than special.  She knows how stressful life is for me right now and goofing off and spending time with her is blissful and calming.  Megan, thanks for making a difference to me.  You are beautiful inside and it radiates out with your nature beauty.

First, I would like to say Thank You to K-Love for making a difference in my life every day.  Listening to you gives me the joy and strength I need to get through each day.  Now, for my make a difference Monday story.  Each week I have listened and heard the stories and would think one Monday I wish I could make a difference for someone. Well, today I was leaving a convenience store when a young man approached me with a handful of change asking if I could spare any money for gas in his van.  I searched through my purse realizing I only had a few cents. Then all of the sudden I just asked where his van was and walked over with my debit card and put $10 in his gas tank for him.  I told him to have a blessed day and walked away.  As I was walking back to my truck, I realized it was Monday and I had just made a difference.  Wow, what a feeling it was.  I was able to help to someone in a small way even when times are difficult for me right now. I am trust God and thank him for all he gives to me.

Person who made a difference for me today - The KFC drive through lady - who gave me the special on my meal even though the time has expired.  Was especially friendly - which was a HUGE difference from when I drove through the other day when my order was wrong, was expensive and the girl was crabby!

How I attempted to make a difference today - I went into the costume shop this evening to help out with last minute tasks for a show that opens in 3 days with many many things left to be done on the costume list.  It's amazing what sewing a button and hemming a pair of pants can mean to a costume mistress! I got called into work Saturday night for Easter Sunday morning, which wasn't really that bad since I would just be working from 5am to 8am at one of my janitorial jobs.  Well my supervisor Dan S. really opened up, and I felt the Lords leading to talk to Dan about Jesus Christ and what He has done for me.  Dan listened intently, and then the questioned flowed... Praise Jesus.  Well this morning again, Dan and I talked and Dan realizes that he needs to get his life right with God.  I told Dan that many would be praying for him, and he thanked me.  Dan said that he does have Jesus in his heart, but is not walking the walk right now.  Pray for Dan's turn around, Pray that I will be a shining example of what Jesus wants me to be and give me the words to further talk with Dan.

Jesus IS Alive!

I am a Gospel Clown and I was at my favorite monday night dinning place where I go to teach other christians how to twist balloons and attach a Bible story or the plan of salvation or some way to share your faith any way i was early and I saw a soldier and his young lady so i walked over and took a life savor and a balloon and asked do you know what this is and he said yes a life savor candy and i said this life savor just cost a few cents but i want to make sure that all of the soldiers that i see are asked if he knows the life savior of the world
He sid yes and I told him thatnks for what he was doing to say save us. I placed the life savor inside the heart shaped balloon and said you are in my heart and prayers and I looked up to see his girla nd him crying. I told him I wasn't there to upset him but to say thanks for his service and he told me he was on his way to Afagastain and needed the prayers. It was a great make a difference monday.

My wife is making a difference in my life if no others.  We have some friends Judy & Matthew.  Judy a single mom to Matthew 14 yr old born with Spina Bifida.  Matthew is kind of complicated I think I can say that because my wife and I also have an incredible son that was also born with Spina Bifida 16 yrs ago.  To shorten this up a bit Judy had to have surgery.  Because of the surgery and slow healing due to diabetes and stress I feel sure, Judy has needed help around the house, with the dressing of her surgery site, and with the constant care of her son Matthew.  Because her family hasn’t been around to help my wife has been staying with them for eight weeks to care for Judy’s needs as well as Matthews many medical needs.  Did I tell you that she works at her job during the day and is friend extraordinaire by night answering Matthews’s medical alarms countless times?   Cooking and loving on these two dear friends for eight weeks is putting a strain on us all.  Our friend Judy is forever grateful and we are thankful we are able to help in this way.  Our prayer is the one that never fails, that the Lords will be done.  Our hope is that some of her family will ask why we serve like this and God will draw another soul to Him.

Jon Julie & Zac Johnston
Real names change them if you like
Please pray for me as I care for our son while my wife is away and try to keep everyone’s sprits up.

Needing your prayers,
Jon Johnston

I forgot all about Make a Difference Monday until I got home yesterday and turned on KLove.  "Too late!" I thought.  Wrong!

Today, I got on the bus after stopping at Walgreens to buy some on-sale Easter candy.  I felt the Lord nudge me to give some of the candy to the bus driver.  That took me out of my comfort zone, but I offered him a chocolate-covered marshmallow egg and ended up striking up a conversation with him.  We talked until I got off at my stop, and I left knowing that I had blessed him in some small way.

For me, this week, it is Make a Difference Tuesday!

I am involved in a group not many people expect for someone my age being that I am only 17,infact there is an entire team of teeneragers who volunteer their time to the Sheriff's Office for search and rescue. This weekend a man was injured while climbing a mountain in our county and we were called out for an emergency rescue.Only 4 teens showed up along with many adults, assigned to carry up the litter and other gear needed our job took a long time due toi the snow and darness.Halfway up the mountain my team prayed to God for strength and guidance knowing we couldn't do it all on our own.To sum up my story we made it safley to our subject and got him off the mountain and he was carried to a hospital by helocopter.Even though some of us our just teens making it through high school it amazes me there are so many of us who are ready to get MAD for someone we don't even know at a moments notice.

Today I got my car washed at my usual place.  The attendant, Donny, seemed really down, so I asked him what was up.  He has diverticulitis, and it's really painful for him.  He's a young man and really discouraged about this condition, since there's no cure, just management of it.  I listened to him for a while, told him I would pray, but God is prompting me to do more.  Every time I'm able to, I'm going to write a Scripture verse that God gives me, copy a devotional that is meaningful, or just write a note to him, and drop it in his tip bucket at the end of the wash.  I don't even have to get my car done to do this!

I love KLOVE, and listen to it on a daily basis.  I would like to encourage the djs on "Make A Difference Monday" to place emphasis on stories from listeners who have been blessed by others and perhaps deter folks from telling their stories of how they have blessed others.  I don't think KLOVE would want to be a part of listeners losing their blessing from the Lord.  Matthew 6 is very clear that acts of charity/service are to be done in private, to receive blessings from our Lord and not the attention of men.  I think it is a wonderful segment; maybe just encourage folks on how they have been blessed. ~ Thanks
