Frugal Father's Day gift ideas!

On Monday, 6/14, I had a friend make a difference in my day.  Saturday, 6/12 my daughter got married.  The wedding was beautiful as was the bride.  Unfortunately there were some problems with the groom's mother & had been since the engagement last October.  The groom's mother came to me & started screaming at me in a fit of rage over something that her niece had apparently told her about something I had supposedly done.  I stood there & quietly told his mother I had not done anything all the while listening to her tell me she was going to have her brother throw me off of his property (the wedding was outdoors in the country).  She was also shaking her finger at me & in my face.  I took her hand & moved it out of my face while she was still screaming at me & told her again I had not done anything.  She then stormed off to tell her brother (I didn't get thrown off the property).  I received a card from my friend today & in it she told me how proud of me she was that I stood there & didn't fight back.  She gave me a BIG ATTA-GIRL & said that if she were ever in a confrontation like that she was going to remember Sally & what she did & be like Sally.  The card made me cry & also reminded me that God puts people in our lives for many reasons, some reasons we know, some we don't.  My friend is not a Christian but she has a HUGE heart.  Her name is Pam Williams.
