I'm in Hawaii and heard this segment during drive time. We've taken our kids to Europe and these are great ideas for saving money and keeping kids happy on road trips.Big pillows and blankets help too!

we always bring pillows and blankets so we can sleep in the car and we also bring lots of snacks so we don't have to stop and buy snacks! Also a DVD player works well, keeps them quiet for a while!
