My son (Coby aka "CK") will be attending a new school again this year.  I appreciate your prayers as he enters a new environment.

I am a single mom with three children. I have two sons in high school. Marco Pacheco, a senior and Mark Pacheco, a junior. My daughter, Selena Pacheco will start school in one week and a half as a 6th grader. I would greatly appreciate prayer for them. I believe in the power of prayer. Thank you so very much.

I would appreciate if you would pray for my nephew, Gabriel(Boe).  He will be starting school the end of August.  He has autism.  He is such a beautiful boy, so full of love and so smart.  He is not talking yet, but we know he will be talking soon.

I have 3 children in school this year, a 3rd grader and 2 kindergarteners.  My daughter Holly, 5 is starting for the first time and my wife and I would appreciate prayer for all my children as they face racism and bullying almost daily.  This last year was exceptionally bad for some reason. They will be going to Ottomon in Orangevale, please pray for them.

Please pray for my grandchildren Tyler and Madison as they head back to school this year. There is alot going on in their lives. Step-dad is serving in Afghanistan, but is home for a short time for the birth of a new sister in the next couple weeks.

My son will be returning to community college. He struggled through high school and struggles with community college. It would be all too easy for him to give up. I pray that he will find the courses and instructors that will inspire him.

On the other end of the scale my grandson starts kindergarten this year.

Please pray for my daughter Kaylee, she started fourth grade today. She is required to attend some special classes through out the school day, and is at a learing level less than a normal fourth grader. She puts a lot of pressure on her self to do the same work as fast as the others.            

Oh boy, I have a LONG list!

First, please pray for my OWN children - Hunter will be a freshman in high school, and Jillian will start 1st grade this year.

Next, please pray for the children of our church - many ages - as they will start school August 30th or 31st (some start a day later - grades 8th, 10-12th).

Another prayer is for myself - I am a teacher switching grade levels from 6th grade elementary to 2nd grade English Language Transition kids.  I will teach 44 children (2 groups of 22) Math, Science and Social Studies in English (they get Reading and Writing in Spanish).  May God grant me patience as I transition, and be the best teacher He can make me to make a difference in their little lives!

Finally, please pray for my 44 students this year.  I won't list them by name, but God knows them.

I am a single parent, please pray for my son Isaac.  He is 15 and is going back to school after a very rough time last year.  He got into a lot of trouble and ended up spending the remainder of the school year in a juvenile facility. He is doing better now, Praise the Lord.  I want him to have a fresh start and look to God for the wisdom to help him make better choices.

My son Zakariah will be starting school again August 23. He is repeating the 3rd grade this year. We ended last year trying to figure out what we could do to help him with his reading scores but because his grades were not meeting state requirements it was decided to retain him.  At his age it was difficult to make that decision. We will begin testing him for any learning or reading disabilities so please lift him up in prayer!! Thank you and God Bless You

Please include my daughter Anissa (Pronounced Aneysa) Calderon to your prayer list.  This summer the Lord has answered my prayer in amazing ways... bringing her back a small part of her self confidence and her desire to be social.  As a teenage girl who sees herself as overweight and 'not very pretty'... she has made huge progress this summer.  My prayer is that strength will carry her thru the school year and that she won't slide back into comparing herself to other girls, etc at school.  We will be praying for all the kids, the teachers & administrators, parents of students and the communities that support each of them.

I just enrolled my son Daniel for 9th grade- this will be the 5th school he has attended. It is also the biggest school and the first public school setting he will be in. Please pray that he will not be overwhelmed, that he will find Godly friends, he will learn to stand for his faith, and that he will find his spiritual footing quickly and not be washed away in all the secular beliefs. My son is starting High School and last year we REALLY struggled to keep it together, please pray that he understands these important years ahead are what sets the scene for his adult life. Also my daughter is going into 8th grade and looks like she is 18, but truly only 13, I pray that God will still be the Center of her life.

Thank you so much for praying for all of our children.  I have 2 son's who both have a difficult time in school due to learning disablities.  Due to cut backs and over crowding, children like mine are overlooked and are sometimes treated like children that don't care or try. Please pray for the teachers of our children, that they may have wisdom to know the difference and will give them the extra attention that is needed to cope in the classroom setting. I would love prayer for my daughter Chelsea who will be a Jr in high school that she will have a softened heart towards Jesus. That his light will shine thru her! My daughter Haley who will be an 8th grader. She is on the fence because it may not be cool to love Jesus. Also that his light will shine thru her. My daughter Adyson who will enter the 1st grade. She deals with anxiety at a very young age. She would rather stay home than try something new. Just give her peace that she can do it! She loves Jesus & pray that she continues thru her life! In his first year of college our son had a lot of problems with drugs and alcohol, even though he is a Christian and knows better, he succumb to peer pressure.  He is clean and sober now, Praise God and is headed to community college next week.  Please pray for a good new year of college and best life choices for him.  His twin sister is also headed back to college at a different
university then her brother.  Please pray for her as she has changed her major and is in a brand new field of endeavor.  We praise God for these our only children and know that He holds them in His hands.  

Thank you Scott and Kelli for your prayer support for children everywhere.  Please pray for our two grandsons, Jonathan & Joseph.  Jonathan is 7 years old and started 2nd grade today, and Joseph is 5 years old and started kindergarten.  Their mom Jessica could really use prayer too.  She is weathering some storms right now in her life but GOD IS GOOD and my husband and I will continue to keep their family in prayer.  Our prayer is that God's provision will be upon our children everywhere, and that He will protect them from the wrong people and wrong places, and protect them from the wrong people finding their way to them.  

I just got remarried on July 31 after 6 years of being a widow. My new husband came with 3 wonderful children, that will not only starting a new live with me and where I live for now, they are all three starting a new school. Alex is 13 going into 8th grade (she just gave her life to the Lord about a month ago), Ronald 8 going into 3rd grade and Kimberly 7 going in to 2nd. So can you pray for them with all the new change that will be happening I want them to feel welcomed and loved

While I definitely want you to pray for my two children, Brenton and Bailey, starting school on Thursday, I, as a school bus driver, would also like prayer for all those bus trips.  We have a lot of responsibility on our shoulders getting the kids back and forth safely.  Please pray for all of us who drive those big yellow buses!!

Please pray for my granddaughter, Sophia - 6, she will be in 1st grade. For kindergarten she went to the pre-school that my daughter taught at so this is the 1st time she will actually be away from her mommy & daddy for so long. She is a ALPHA female and her parents are concerned that she will having difficulty not being in control. She's extremely intellegent. SHE DID ASK JESUS INTO HER HEART MAY 30 OF THIS YEAR...2 DAYS BEFORE HER 6TH B'DAY!

Thanks so much for offering to pray for my children.  I would like for you to pray for my twins, Matthew and Rebekah, who will be starting High school this year (9th grade).  Rebekah is very nervous about starting a new school with new kids.  I pray that Matthew can develop one good, christian friendship.  He always seems to be the one who is bullied in school and now tends to keep to himself.  Please pray for their protection while in school and to develop friendships.  I pray this every day of their lives.

Thank you for this. Before writing this request, I read and prayed for all the previous requests.  Very touching and it makes me realize, small children through college, all need prayer. For Beau, 23, back in college and and working full time for him to remain focused with upcoming hard semester.  Blake, 20, for God to enter his heart and open his eyes for him to return to college.  Britt, 16, entering his junior year in high school.  We serve an awesome God.  

I have four wonderful children: Abby(17), Alex(16), MaryElise(15) and MollyGrace(8).  They are all very strong in their faith, but please pray that they don't get distracted. When God puts an opportunity in front of them, my pray is that they will have the courage to be obedient and do or say whatever they should to bring Him glory.

I would like to add my kids, logan (9) and Kayla (5) to the Klove Prayer list. Kayla is entering kindergarten and is very excited but mommy is nervous!! Logan has struggled with anxiety since he was in kindergarten and school is always a source of stress for him. I just want to cover him in prayer as he goes to school and help ease his mind that school is going to be a wonderful experience.

Additionally I wanted to lift my brothers in prayer as well. They live in New Mexico where the graduation rate is 50%...49th worst in the country. My youngest brother has really struggled in school and has barely squeeked by with the aid of summer school. He will be in 10th grade. My older brother will be a senior and has good faith in the Lord, but I want to make sure the pray that he won't get distracted with the ways of the world. Thanks so much!

I love your show and the encouraging that you do everyday. My daughter and I listen to K-Love all day on our computer.Could you add my husband to your prayer list. He is going back to school after being in the military for 8 years. I know he is not a kid but I feel that he needs the prayers. I have been praying that with work and school that he will be able to make time for God and his daughter. I am also a bit worried on how he will be treating the other students there that don't look like him. So if you could pray him that would mean a great deal to me.

PLease pray for my daughter, Kindle. She is going into the 10th grade this year. She has gone to a Christian school since she was 4. Like anything else, nothing is perfect. She has struggled with rumors being spread and hurtful things being said in years past. She always turns the other cheek until it gets near the end of the school year and then she gets upset and has a hard time letting things go. Please pray that this year will be better for her and that the hurtful things stop. She is exceptional when it comes to knowing the Word of God and and has always had the Lord in her heart. Liam is beginning his freshman year in high school.  He has had trouble in middle school but has worked very hard on staying on the right path and out of trouble.  Please pray with us that Liam can continue his journey on the right path and will not succumb to making poor decisions due to peer pressure, and will stay safe from injury while playing high school football.

My son Brandon has ADHD, Anxiety and is currently taking medication for Depression. Brandon is going into 11th grade. He does not like school. He will be attending a career center for the 1st 3 periods of his school day where he will learn construction skills. I pray this will be a great year for him.
My daughter Stephanie will be a sophmore. She has faced some struggles with lying, stealing and her attachment to a non-chrisian boy who has influenced her to make poor decisions in this past year.
My daughter Sarah will be starting 1st grade.I'm very excited for all the new things she will be learning.
I pray that the lord will use my children to further his kingdom and that he will continue to mold them into the young adults he is leading them to be. I pray that they will hear his calling and follow.Thank you for your prayers.

Please pray for the youth of our church group Island Praise Fellowship 4HG (4 His Glory)who came out of this years youth camp wanting to impact their schools for Jesus Christ.  These kids laid down their lives at the altar and are wanting to be living sacrifices...true to Romans 12.

My oldest child, Lexi, starts school this year.  We struggled to make a decision to send her to a christian school or the public school.  We chose the public school.  I would appreciate your prayers that 1) her first year of school is enjoyable since I feel her first year of school could shape how she feels about school for the next 12 to 16 years and 2) that we made the right choice with public school and through Lexi we can meet families and kids and share fellowship or bring them to christ.  Thanks for the prayers.

My son Matthew is 6 and will be starting 1st grade on Monday, 8/16.  He attends a very good Christian school here in Raleigh, NC.  He asked Jesus into his heart last Sunday and will be getting baptized in a few weeks.  Please pray that our Lord will continue to work in and through him.  Thank you and God Bless.

Dave is a high school senior this year in Jackson, TN.  There is so much peer pressure and I stay burdened that he will embrace the God of Gods and King of Kings, as he has been taught.  Pray for simple things, like safe drives to school.  Pray for good, Christian friends who will be encouragers to him.  Please pray that he will be tobacco-free, drug-free, alcohol-free and sex-free because he honors God's teachings through the Bible.
I am so thankful for a radio station willing to pray for these kids! I will be praying for this list also.

My prayer request is a little different, My husband and I have three kids, in a small Christian School.(11th,6th,1st grade)Please pray not only for my kids but for the school, it is always a struggle for the school financial, they are not funded by the government,and a local Arts Grand was just canceled.
However, this is my MAIN REQUEST. We have this teenage boy, in our church; he has expressed interest,for his SENIOR YEAR, in attending the Christian School, where our kid attend. Before that can happen, he has some big hurdles, to jump over and to him it seems impossible, but we have told him "with God ALL things are possible". Financial he can't afford it and his mom just got married and they are moving about an hour away, in a few weeks. PLEASE, pray that the Lord will provide the money, and for my husband and I to have wisdom, as we consider the possibilities, of letting him move in with our family,for the school year. We serve a BIG God and with him ALL things ARE possible. BTW, school starts on Monday Aug. 16th. Thank you and klove for the ministry's that you have and your willingness to serve.

My daughter, Mykaila will be a junior this year and my son, Jared will be an 8th grader.  Mykaila received Christ while at Christian camp this summer.  My prayer for her would be not only that she have a wonderful school year where she will focus on her work, but that she would also keep her eyes focused on the Lord!  To keep that relationship as fresh and exciting through the school year as it was this summer.  For Jared, he has such a great attitude about school and he does so well, prayers that he will continue on that path!

The one big difference for her is she will be going back with a new last name. I ask for prayer for my boys as they enter a new school year.  My boys are GOD fearing boys; they share the Word and testimony to fellow classmates - sometimes ridiculed.  Therefore, pray GOD leads them to continue to serve and share GOD's teaching and to keep them GOD fearing no matter what comes their way.  My oldest starts high school as a freshman - lol. what more can i say - it's brutal out there.  Thank you.  I as a mother will pray that GOD keeps his hand over all our children.

My sons Peyton 7th grade and Evan 2nd grade. For them to be led by Jesus instead of the world. For Peyton specifically for his heart to be healed from family circumstances and to be able to move past them. He seeks attention by negative reinforcement and I pray God seeks him out and touches him in a big way. He's hurting and I'm frustrated not knowing how to help him other than prayer.

Hi guys! Please pray for my daughter Makenzie who will be starting MIDDLE SCHOOL this year. We relocated here from Florida almost three years ago and Makenzie is extremely shy and she has had a hard time making friends. Unfortunately becuase we are not from here and we moved to a small neighborhood everyone knows everybody.. but her. She has also been given the opportunity to join our church's youth group this year and I pray that the Lord will take hold of her and keep her close. Peer pressure is going to become a struggle since she is coming into a whole new age of life and I just ask that you would pray for her at school this year and in life in general. She is a God's girl and we are teaching her that everyone is not going to be like her or have the faith that she has and that is ok, maybe she can be a light in someone else's life and not be afraid to stand up for her faith. I covet your prayers for my two precious angels.  Cole is 13 (developmentally 2 to 4) and has an undiagnosed neuro-denerative disorder. He started High School in a special day class yesterday.  Bryce is 9 and also started 4th grade yesterday.  Their father and I seperated August 1.  I'm thankful we are both putting the boys first and doing our best to help them through all these trasitions.  Your prayers are a blessing to us. Pray for me that I will learn to relax in the loving hands of God while they are gone. Thank you for your ministry!

I wanted to tell you about a ministry we have at our church.  It is called "Guardian Angel".  Volunteer adults are given the name of one of the children in our congregation to pray for during the upcoming school year.  The adults are also encouraged to send cards anonymously and small gifts for special occassions (birthday, Resurrection Sunday, Christmas, spiritual birthday [if the child has been baptized yet].Then in August, we have a "revealing" picnic so the young person can see who their guardian angel was.

Please pray for my daughter Brittany who will finish up her teaching degree at Georgetown College by completing a semester of student teaching.  She has done wonderful thoroughout college and became closer to God.  I also have a daughter, Hali, that will enter her freshman year of college at Morehead State.  She struggled with bullying and many trials throughout high school and also became closer to God because of these trials.  Last but not least I have a son that will be in the eigth grade.  He has been fortunate to have sisters that have set a wonderful example for him.  Please pray that God continues to be the guiding force in their lives and that they let him work through them.  

Please pray for Sarah Indira.  She will begin 4th grade this year.  I know she will do her best.  She is a good and kind child who is sweating away at day camp this week!  She is our one and only and she is so precious to us!

Thank you for your thoughtfulness to pray for our children/teens.  I couldn't run to the computer fast enough.  Please pray for Nicole and Derick for an outpouring of God's holy spirit upon them giving them revelation of how Great He is and how great his love is for them. Please pray that He would protect them from temptation and bad influences.  That He would bring spiritual mentors and positive role models into their lives that would help them find their way back to him as they wrestle with their faith.

Please remember our grandson Mason,who is 10 years old and will be going to public school this year after spending the last 3 years in a very small Christian school. Mason's lost his mother 4 years ago and his father is unable to raise him due to substance abuse. We have had custody of Mason for 3 years and feel that it is time that he see that there are other children who also don't have a traditional family. We all need pray to be able adjust to this change in our lives. Please pray that God will give Mason the wisdom to make good choices and that we can guide and direct him in the ways that our Heavenly Father would want us too. My son's name is hector ruben aleman 8 years old in 3rd grade. My son started school on 8/5/2010 please pray for him to have the energy to go to school, be able to do his homework and still have energy to go to his tackle footbal practice (The Redskins)for 2hours a day and 5 days a week. It is a challenge for him and he loves it. I know he is not giving up at all in football but i want him to know that God is by his side to give him the strenght he needs to keep on going. We live in Tucson Az and it is extremely hot for the kids to practice in the heat from 5:30-7:30. But even with the heat they dont give up and it makes us very happy.Please pray for these boyz and specially my wonderful son Hector Ruben Aleman..we are very proud of him.

Hello, my name is angie.. i come from a family of catholics.. when i told my mother and father that i was going to change my beliefs and religion they were upset and didnt understand why...afterwards i started going to church and little by little they were becoming understanding. then they finally allowed me to tak my little brothers and sisters to church w me... they loved it and they started attending regularly w me.. my parents are still catholic or so they say but my little brothers and sisters and i are followers of Jesus Christ. please pray for my little ones their names are from oldest to youngest..Jose torivio Jonathan Torivio Maricruz Torivio and Daniela Torivio.. they ar all still in elemantary school and they will be starting next monday.. thank you so much for yur ministry it has literally saved our lives... Thank you so much for praying for all these students! Please pray for my four grandchildren - Taylor (6th grade), Drew (3rd grade), Olivia (1st grade), and Lauren (kindergarten). My daughter Becca is in 1st grade, and my son Joey is in 2nd. I ask for prayers that they have a good year and that they can share their faith in Christ with everyone around them. My son loves everyone and does not have a mean bone in his body. This makes him a target also though, and even though he gets laughed at and yes, sometimes pushed down, he still loves those people and tries to be friends. I pray that he doesn't get hurt this year.

I would love it if you could pray for my daughter who I gave up for adoption when she was born. Her name is Emily, she's six and is starting first grade. As much as I love her parents, they do not have a relationship with God and I pray that Emily would find someone in her everyday life to teach her about Jesus. Please pray that Chloe would have a good school year without any bullying or teasing, she went through that a lot last year. She goes to speech therapy but gets teased because of her speech. Also, she has been sick for over a month & we just found out that she has pertussis (whooping cough). We have been told the cough may last 8-10 weeks but please pray that she feels better before school starts. She missed a lot of school last year due to her asthma & stomach problems.

And please pray for me as I'm about at the end of my rope with all of the health problems going on in our household. I know that God cares but don't understand why we are constantly going through things. Plus, my husband has been laid off for two years now & I'm a recently graduated nurse and can't find a job. I have applied everywhere I can think of without hearing anything back. Thank you for the prayers, I greatly appreciate it.

We are in our 2nd year homeschooling our son, Bryce, he is 16, he is going to be in 10th grade this year.  And we would just love some prayer that God lead us through this 2nd year, it is still a learning experience for us and we have had some financial problems and had to overcome some obstacles satan has put in our way, but as always God prevails when you are in His will!  Our son did wonderfully last year and we are praying the same this year!  He really is a great kid and we so would really count it as a blessing if you could remember him and our family in your prayers.

I know this is a little unconvential, but I'm a teacher and I would love if you would pray for "my kids" that I teach! I start school again in September.  This year, I'll be teaching a new class for 9th grade English repeaters.  I would love it if you could pray that the students would have discipline and find the class meaningful.  But most of all, I would love if you could pray for the students to not feel like failures.  I worry that the students already think of themselves as failures and will give up on themselves before even starting.  I know that God loves each and every one of these students and I want this class to be a good second chance, not a punishment. I just want to add my two daughters, Alivia who will be entering the 7th grade this year that God would continue to watch over her and protect her mind from the garbage taught in schools now.  Also my daughter Alayna who is just starting kindergarten, that God will watch over her and guide her in her first real steps into  life.

I have three children that I would like prayer for.  My oldest is going to be a freshman in college this year for teaching.  What a blessing she is to me and our family.  She is an incredible young lady and can only do great things.
My other two children are going into the first grade and the third grade.  They are both wonderfully made and give out little blessings of Love where ever they go.  My youngest has a new teacher to the school and she sounds like she has been challanged quite a bit already by the kids.  My second child has missing a good friend and we are praying for her to find better friends this year and also to excell in her schooling.

Pray for my kids Addison, Andrew and Adam as they start a new school year. Adam begins high school and the pressures of kids that age are unreal. He is a good kid that is a christain and does not mind telling people about his faith. He is currently playing football in high school this is sometimes a place where your faith is greatly tested. Andrew plays in the band and loves to read they all have wonderful but different personalities and that is o.k. because we know God makes us all different.

Please pray for my daughter Ciara--she graduated high school this year and turned 18 this summer.  She is supposed to start local college in a week and half.  I feel she is being led away from her Christian upbringing...and pray for all young adults to remember their Christian roots and turn to God for direction.  Thank you and God Bless!

please pray for Makaila that she will be a shining example of Gods love as she is starting to enter into the peer pressure stage.

Hi Scott and Kelli, I would love for you to pray for my children Cody-9th, Chelsea-8th, and Carson-5th as they just started school. I just want what is best for my children. My boys seem to struggle in their studies and I just pray that God will keep them on that straighten path. I just pray that my children have more confindence in themselves during this school year, that they can accomplish anything they put their minds too. I also pray that God keeps my husband safe as he is working as a truck driver on the road for the family. Thanks K-love for playing inspirational songs that touch my heart!! My faith has defintely grown over the last couple of years!!  

My children are grown and finished with school but please pray for me. I am a second grade teacher with a class size of 28. I am going through a terrible divorce after 35 years of marriage so I am fragile at this time. Please pray for me to have the strength and patience that I need to give my students a great education. I'd like to lift up the 2 children that I have babysat for over the past 4 years.  I just moved away to begin my graduate studies and had to say goodbye to them- one of the most difficult, heart-wrenching things I've ever had to do.  There's nothing like the love of a child, even if he's not your own!  They will be entering the 2nd and 4th grades this school year and I pray everyday that they will be surrounded by God's angels as they grow up and navigate this big world.  Please pray for Jack and Reagan and for their safety, health, educations, and their family.  THANK YOU

My son goes to his first year at Junior High.  He is ADHD and has a great deal of difficulty transitioning and is much niever and nicer than the typical student which unfortunately usually makes him a target to be picked on.  I fear this is going to be a huge transition for him. My niece Sara Nickles starts 7th grade this year.  She goes to school at Christian Academy in Sidney,Ohio.  She is excited about getting to change to different classrooms for each period now that she is in junior high. How awesome it is to have other people bringing my children to the Throne of Grace!  My daughter Caitlynn has started 8th grade, and my son Andrew is repeating Kindergarten. I ask also that you ask for special grace and patience for my son's teacher.  He was diagnosed last year with High Functioning Autism, and he struggles at school with social rules.

Hi Scott and Kelli, My 10 yr old, Gabriella heard your offer to pray for kids as they head back to school and she wanted me to add her name to your list, so if you would pray for protection and Godly wisdom for her.  So if you would cover Gabriella in prayer we would love it! Also, my niece Isabella going in to 8th grade and my nephew Ernesto going into 6th and both of them are facing many challenges and obstacles in their lives and really could use some intercessory prayer.  We only listen to K-Love and your ALL a big blessing.

My four children will be starting school next week. Please pray for my 4 children Melissa 16, Alex 14, Miranda 7, and Emily 6, that they will have a wonderful and safe year.  Last year the two older ones ditched school so much and were misbehaving, they barely passed.  Please pray that they will have interest in school again and they will do their homework.  I ask God to bring the right people into their paths to show them how important their education is for their future so they can be have prosperous lives.

We moved down to Arkansas last August for my first job in the full time ministry.  Last year my sweet daughters, Cecily (9) and Corinna (7), started a new school and thrived in a loving environment.  
My wife, Brenda, was a music teacher in a middle school and had very rough year in a very difficult situation.  She ended the year very discouraged and ready to quit.  This year she is teaching elementary music which is her passion and she is excited about teaching again.
As they start school Thursday, please pray for my daughter's continued growth in their education and for Brenda to be a blessing to her students and enjoy serving where God had placed her.

A prayer for my to boys, Joshua who will be in 11th and Tyler who will be in 9th. For both of them to stay focused and for them to want to study hard, I ask for Tyler not to struggle so much and that the Lord watches for him so that he does well in school as it has been difficult for him. For Joshua that he continues to do well and for the both of them not to follow the wrong crowd for that is easy for teens to do. They love the Lord and have there salvation. Thank you

I was relocated by my job from California to North Carolina with my three children, Aicha 12, Malika 10, and Karim 8, in May. They were able to attend for a month and get to know the teachers and the school but next week it will be the real thing. I ask you to pray for them that they will be lead by the Holy Spirit, show the love of Jesus through them, they will see their full potential and to keep them safe. Please pray for my son, Luke. He will be starting kindergarten on Aug. 30. And please pray for his mom, me, that I will hold my emotions back as he walks into class for the first time. I'm more worried about me than him! I pray that he will have a pleasant learning experience and make new friends along the way. I also have a 5 month old son, Philip, who gets more attention right now and Luke has struggled with this a bit. Are you still praying for kids going back to school.  My kids started back on the 13th.  Sammy is my oldest he is 17 and starting his junior year.  As well as academically, to keep his GPA up for college, he needs prayer for his relationship with God.  He told me recently he only hears speaking to him in church.  I don't think he has a strong intimate connection with God and it worries me.  Sean is 14 and is a freshman this year.  He is in the honors program.  He has a heart for God and people.  Josh is the youngest and will be 13 in a month and is in 7th grade.  He is very strong willed and is more of a challenge for the teachers than the other 2.  Please pray for God to help him with his behavior in class as well as his academics.  Please pray for all of them to excel academically, as well as have favor with students and teachers and to be a light for Jesus.  Thank you so much for your ministry to our kids!!
