Praying for the "KLOVE kids!"

I would feel very blessed to have anyone pray for my son, Adam.  He is heading to college this year for the first time.  He has recently had a few set backs, which will add to his challenges.  

His heart is so sweet, he is so full of love.  Any prayers that can help him find the path that God would lead him down would be appreciated.

Colton is a very special son. He has CP with physical disabilites and he is starting College on Tues 8/24. He is feeling the stress of becoming an adult and higher education. He has had so many obstacles in his life but he alway finds the strength to finish. I AM A AREA MANAGER FOR A CASH ADVANCE COMPANY, WHEN MY DAUGHTER GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL ON MAY 28TH SHE WANTED TO RUN ONE OF MY STORES, SO I HIRED HER. ON AUGUST 5TH SHE WAS ROBBED AT GUN POINT THE WOMAN WALKED IN AND HELD THE GUN TO MEGAN'S HEAD AND DEMANDED THE MONEY. I WAS AT HER STORE ONE HOUR BEFORE IT HAPPENED AND LEFT TO GO ON VACATION. WHEN I GOT THE CALL ALL I COULD DO WAS PULL TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND CRY OUT TO JESUS THANKING HIM THAT THE WOMAN WHO ROBBED HER WASN'T TRIGGER HAPPY AND THAT JESUS PROTECTED MY DAUGHTER THAT DAY. AT THAT MOMENT IS WHEN I REALIZED HOW JESUS PROTECTS HIS CHILDREN. I AM ASKING FOR PRAYER THAT JESUS WILL CONTINUE TO PROTECT HER AND MY SON JACOB AS HE IS STARTING 10TH GRADE. Thank you for your faithfulness!  My 11 year-old daughter Lauren is going into 6th grade.  She is so blessed by God!  With kindness, smartness, beauty and compassion!  Only one of her five "best" friends attends a church, and none show fruit of knowing Christ or that He is their highest teacher. I really, really want her to grow in her relationship with Christ this year, however and by whomever that God would cause it to happen.

Please pray for my children Cameron and Emily - they both started a new school today and are a little nervous.  Also for my 13 year old son, Kyle.  He is in middle school and the last year was pretty rocky.  The issues these kids are facing in middle school are far beyond what they are equipped to handle.  Please pray that Kyle can turn to God rather than peer influences.  Thank you so much for all you do!

I think this is wonderful!!!  I would like to ask you to pray for my daughter Aralia.  She's in 7th grade and I ask that she can be a witness to her friends and not fall into the ways of the world.

I would also like to add my neice Haley...who has fallen into the ways of the world.  She believes she knows what is best for her at age 15.  It's a tough age in this world today.

Please pray for my son Lane. He just graduated from college with a degree in music editing,wave audio etc. I can see God opening many doors for him. Not only gifted in recording music but an amazing drummer. Please all my brothers and sisters in Christ help me pray God never takes His hand off of Lane and will continue to be his guide. Thank you so much for offering prayer for our kids!  I have 4 nephews, 2 of whom are in school.  The oldest one is 16 (Kyle) who I am most concerned about.  He has moved into my adoptive sister's household which is not a very good situation.  Kyle left my sister's household which is also not a good situation.  Kyle has a had a tough childhood and to top it off he has Asperger's Syndrome.  He knows who God is and was going to church in his hometown.  He struggles alot but had really good grades in school and now whith the move, we're not sure what is going to happen.  The other boy (Connor) is 14 and is still with my siste.  I's not sure I want to say he seems to be doing ok.  The household is not the greatest because of the life my sister has chosen.  I pray that Conner will be able to stay afloat.  He also know's who God is.  The boys' father is extremely mean and cruel.  They cannot go to him.  Please keep them in prayer that God will protect both of them and the living situations that both are in.  If the living arrangements for Kyle are not right, please pray that God will open another door for him.

My daughter's name is Sarah.  She is a senior this year.  My son's name is Shane.  He is a 7th grader.  They are both starting new schools as our school district has consolidated the two high schools and the two middle schools into one each.  The two schools of each level were in the same school district, but rivals with each other when playing sports.  Please pray these two rivals will become uniting into one as we go forward.  Thank you.

Hello. I am a single mother of three children.  Tommy is a sophomore, Kayla is in 7th grade and Raychel just started pre-school yesterday. I have three wonderful children.
Listening to KLove helps me get through the day as I'm working at the State Police Post more than 25 miles away from my children.

Please pray for my grandkids as they start school.  I can remember when I was barely going to turn 18 and now my Grandson is starting college this week.  My Granddaughter is starting her freshman year in high school.  Please pray for me too as I will be turning 62 next month and I am having a very difficult time with my grandson even talking about going off to college.  I know he needs to go and I want him to got but it's not going to be easy for me at all.  He is my precious little companion.

>PS I am a single young widowed mom, The Lord moved me to put my son in a faith based school, with this he provided me 3 jobs that I worked all summer long to  make this happen (now I am back at 1) with school approaching I was getting apprehensive about finances, let me tell you the Lord is amazing, I sat down Sunday morning and figured out our finances and came to the conclusion that at the end of the month we would have $280 for food and gas. That day my pastors sermon preached on kids who have been brought up to follow the "norm" and didn't know the meaning of Easter or CHRISTmas, young couples who lived together b4 marriage etc.. It was all the conformation I needed to know I was in the care of the Lord, and that  HE will always provide. Praise Jesus and thanks be to you LORD.

She's very intelligent but struggles socially with friends and family and is very impulsive. They both need prayer for guidance and the direction that God has for each of their lives; and the knowledge of the reality of love God has for them.

Please pray for my son JJ, who is starting his first year in college.  JJ or is our youngest son who was our first foster child 19 years ago and we adopted him when he was 4.  He was born with traces of various drugs in his little body.  He has a learning disability but has a spirit of "I can do it, mom." At times he does think of himself as being stupid and blames his birth mom for his struggles.  He does know the Lord and ususally listens to praise & worship music.  His favorite verse is Phil. 4:13.  I pray that he would listen to the Lord and be obedient to where the Lord would lead him. He has truly been a gift in my life.  Thank you for praying for him.

Pray for my little guy, Dylan. He is in the 2nd grade and starting a different school (w/i the same school system) and dealing with older children. He has been a little soldier for God so far and I pray he doesn't lose his innocents. Also there are some concerns about the adults in the school and their treatment of the children. May God Bless each and every child in the world and His angels guide and protect them all from harm and the temptation of sin.

We just moved to North Carolina from California and there have been so many changes for her all at once, which is especially hard because she has Asperger's Syndrome. Now she is starting high school where she doesn't know anyone. Please pray that she will find caring, Godly friends who will help her to feel a sense of belonging and acceptance. Please pray, also, for my son Stuart who stayed behind in California to go to college and is living on his own for the first time.

Please pray for my two girls.  Reese (6) is going to be starting 1st grade and Lydia (3) will be going to preschool for the first time.  I am a teacher at a Christian school, so both girls will be close to me.  Praise God for that!  My husband has asked for a divorce recently, so I pray that God's peace will drench my girls through all that will be going on.  And may God continue to use me to shine His light.

Please pray for my son Justin who is starting his first year of college.  Justin was our first foster child who we adopted at the age of 4.  He was born with traces of various drugs in his tiny body.  He struggles with a learning disability.  He has always had an "I can do it," attitude and has never given up.  At times he struggles with being angry at his birth mom and blaming her for his struggles.  And sometimes he gives in to thinking that he is stupid.  He does know the Lord and usually listens to praise & worship music.  His favorite verse is Phil. 4:13.  I pray that he will listen to the Lords leading and be odedient to where God would have him go.  Thank you for praying for him.  He truly has been a gift in my life.

In this world we all have so many challenges and sometimes we forget that our children are having challenges as well. Please pray for my son Devin he is 4 and going to preschool this year. I am also praying whether to homeschool or send him to christian schoolnext year. At this point I am really busy with a home business and we feel he can use his mornings to be with other kids his age to learn and interact. I am so proud of him because the other day at his swim class he was telling a little girl in his class about Jesus. My heart beamed because all I want for him is to fall in love with Jesus and live for him completely. I pray and hope you do as well that he will share his love for Jesus with his classmates and that he would live for Christ in this world that does not. My son Kolby is starting 7th grade on Monday. I am so nervous cause I know that kids are not the same as they were when I was going to Jr. High. Makiya starts 4th grade tomorrow.  The last 15 months have been pretty stressful.  She had been in Christian school through 2nd grade, then my husband lost his job.  She started public school and it took her about 3 months to quit crying every morning.  My husband got a job and moved from Missouri to California.  We joined him and home schooled in our tiny (but blessed) camper for the second half of the year.  Tomorrow begins public school again.  She seems less anxious, but please pray she will adjust quickly and be peaceful.

My daughter Mikaela has started her senior year in high school. Please pray for her as she enters this last year of high school. She suddenly does not have a car and since I have to be at work by 6am it has been a struggle getting her to school. Please pray that she is able to get to school everyday and that she is filled with wisdom and guidence from God..  

I have 2 children in high school and 1 child in middle school. Caleb is a senior, Ethan is a freshman and Elizabeth is 8th grade.

Please pray for their safety to/from the school building. Caleb/Ethan have schoolbus provided and Elizabeth will walk alone. I work fulltime and cannot be there to get them if they miss their bus. In today's society I am concerned for their safety.

My Son Jayven is starting Pre K this year and this will be the first time I will be away from him for so long. It helps me to know that God is always with him even when I am not. I am just starting my sophomore year in high school today. As far as I know, I am one of the few Christians in my school. I have been walking with Jesus for a little over a year. I have a great youth group, but none of those kids go to my school. It is often overwhelming at school and on my football team because the guys constantly talk about sex, girls and partying. On their phones, they have the internet so they look up pornography and show it to me. Sometimes I see it before I realize what they are doing. I know that every school is like this, but it is really hard not to be brought down by all of this. I come home from school feeling so drained every day.I really want to know Jesus' presence in the middle of all of this, not give in to temptation, and be able to tell people about Him more. Some of the guys at school respect me for being a Christian, but of course I get made fun of a lot since I don't do what they do. Thanks a lot for praying.

I would like for you to pray for my step daughter Cheyanna. She took a big step last week and told a judge she did not want to live with her mother anymore, she wants to live with her dad and I. We take her to church and keep her active in church.Her mom does not go the church and doesnt think you have to.Her two sisters have give her a hard time about, but she is taking a stand for God. So this is a new school year and a new start for her just pray that we will be a blessing and a help to her and that she will be a light at her school.

My four children, Abbie & Arenne (11yrs & 6th grade); Drew (10yrs & 4th grade); and Colin (almost 8 & 2nd grade) went back to school today, and by all accounts had an awesome day! My 6th graders were nervous about starting middle school this year, and all four kids had the usual excitement and butterflies of the first day of school. We've made a habit of praying in our car on the way to school, sometimes I lead the prayer and other times they volunteer too. This has been very fulfilling in our daily lives as we pray for each other as well as my husband and anyone in our lives we feel led to pray for. I encourage others to adopt this habit

Please pray for my Ramon who is entering freshman HS. Pray that he wil find Christian kids to hang out with. He is 13 years old, always the youngest in his class and I am very worried that he will find himself following anyone that would show a bit of interest in him. He has been Christian schooled, and I am a bit worried. I  trust God on this but it would be great to know that he is being prayed for by others too.

MomsInTouch.org has a great little booklet for $7 by Fern Nichols all about "Mothers Meeting to Pray for Children in Schools".  It chocked full of information with focus on a group Bible study, specific Scriptural references, a wonderful guide, etc.   My kids are all grown, but this is truly too valuable to NOT pass on.

Please pray for my grandchildren.  None of them are currently going to church and get no guidance at home spiritually.  Two granddaughters have graduated and really don't know what they are going to do with their lives.  They are not following the Lord at all.  Another granddaugher just started high school.  Please pray she stays pure and away from the influences there.  My precious grandson started 5th grade today is so sweet and loving and just wants to be friends with people.  He does not seem to be accepted and I pray that he will stay away from the bad influences also and not act like the rest in public school.  

I would love if my kids were prayed for my daughter Lexi is 6 going into kindergarden and my son anthony he is a senior this year and they both need prayer for my daughter starting and my son to get through this last year it has been tough with him. Thank you so much and god bless

We certainly need to pray for all the children in our nation's schools. I would love to have prayers go up for my children. Whitney is a first grader this year. She is such a sweet child and very tender hearted. Her feelings get hurt very easy.I pray not only for her safety and education,but also for that of the other children that may not know about the Lord. My son and his family have just moved in with us do to financial issues. He and Tiffy have 2 boys David 8yrs old, and Dorian 20mo old. None of them know Jesus. I have been praying for their salvation for along time. Maybe them moving here is the first step in Gods plan........ Hannah is going into 2nd grade this year.  My husband and I cannot afford to send her to a private, Christian school, which is what we would really love to do.  We fear the public school system and all of the things that she is learning from her peers.  We are praying that she is put in the class that God wants/needs her to be in so that she is, eventually, molded into the woman that he wants her to be (even though we have a specific teacher that we would LOVE her to have).  But, it is still hard for us to let go of that control.  We want to shelter our baby!  We don't want her to hurt or feel any pain (by mean kids), so pray a special blessing on her and special protection over her.  Thank you so much...and thank you for all that you do.

Hi there, I have a son Levi who is starting High School which is a whole new ballgame, and would love prayers for him. I also have a son Denver who is haveing probelms with OCD, Anxiety, and Panic Disorders and school is worse for him, because he is picked on at school. I've been debating Homeschooling, but just don't know what to do yet so he will be starting back to school for 4th grade this year, and this brings me lots of worries on how his emotions are going to cope. Please pray that we can find the best avenue for him, and if it is school that the kids will be less cruel. Thank you for your prayers.

I love this idea of praying for my two kids.  I have one who just left her old life to return home and go to college.  This will be her second degree, but a HUGE life change.  Brittany needs prayer for school and a job to support herself on.  Then Holly, my youngest, will be returning to public high school this year.  She is a sophomore and her freshman year was tumultuous to say the least.  I pray for each of them daily.  I thank you for helping as well.

Hey Scott & Kelli, my sweet Jaden started 1st grade last week. As a mother, my worse fear is that he will be picked on or bullied at school. He is a very little fella for his age, 6 years old (soon to be 7) and only weighs 36 lbs. Please pray for his protection and that he always lets the Lord guide his footsteps! Want to thank you for offering prayer support for our kids as they head back to school.  My husband Doug and I have 2 children, our Kile (pronounced Kyle)is in 7th grade and our daughter Kassie is in second.  I have found out that from the time our son was in 1st grade that it is important for us to be praying in the spring before school lets out for the teacher/teachers our children will have the coming fall.  And you know what God has always been faithful in answering our prayers for this concern and our kids have been blessed with the best!  Personality fit and all.  God really want us to turn our cares over to him in every aspect of our lives.  I much rather turn this care over to him and feel peace than have anxiety over it all during the summer!  God bless both of you and you bless so many each and every day.  Kristin Long klove listener 98.9.  My family and I live in Sterling, IL.  Thank You!

Please pray for my kids as they both start new schools on Aug. 31st. My son, Stephen starts 10th grade and my daughter LeighAnn starts 7th grade which is the first grade of middle school in our district. My daughter has been bullied by one of the girls who is in the 8th grade at the school and they will be on the same bus and possibly at the same bus stop this year.  This girl has been vicious and nasty and I am concerned for my daughter's safety.

Scott and Kelli,  Please pray for my 6 year old grandson, Dakota, who is starting first grade at a very difficult school this year.  This follows  some very tough family problems.  He is a very tenderhearted boy and will need many prayers for strength.  Also that he will be aware that God is working in his life, loving and protecting him each and every day.  Thank you so much for your prayers.

Please pray for my son and daughter. My son is starting 4th grade and school has always been a struggle for him. He has trouble staying focused.I believe he has a small form of ADHD. Please pray that God will help him overcome this.
My daughter is starting full time kindergarten.
My prayer is that they will have a great year and have some successes they can be proud of.

Please add Madison Gray to your prayer list.  She's starting Kindergarten.  I pray she will always love school as much as she does this week! She's living in a trying situation, with mommy and daddy not together.  We want to baby her (as grandparents), but that won't work when she's almost 6 years old!  She has to learn to toughen-up and she's one of the lucky ones, she gets to talk to "Daddy" every day on the phone.

With girls this age, the concerns are dealing with kids that are not kind and can be very hurtful.  I pray that they learn how to deal with difficult situations in a godly way.  I am trying to teach them that they can stand up for themselves while still being proud of their own behavior.

Please be in prayer for my son Khyler. He has switched from a Christian school to a public school this year. He really likes it and has adjusted well, I just pray he is not exposed to stuff to soon.
