Enjoy the Moment!

I don't know about you, but I find that I spend far too many moments rushing from appointment to appointment and not enough moments appreciating…well…the moment. A friend shared this on Facebook the other day and it gave me a new determination to stop, breathe and enjoy the moment this weekend. Carpe diem!

A Boy's Encounter With Jesus

I got a great call from Tyson today that was a reminder just how much Jesus loves us, and how close he is to us; a reminder of his promise to be a friend that sticks closer than a brother.

Budget beauty secrets!

Found a list of surprising budget beauty secrets. Some things on the list include using soda to thin clumpy mascara, smoothing skin with asprin paste (!) and opening stuck nail polish bottles by using a rubber band! Got any tips that have worked for you?

Ok i know sounds ewww but it really works:
Mashed avocados with a really good conditioner mix them up real good, leave in your hair for about 20 minutes and wash it off.
Leave your hair shiny and soft.
And dont even like guacamole Winkhehe

I am a professional skin care & color artist, and I have lots of fun secrets for sure.  And, have also learned that one cannot always depend on the "beauty secrets" found on the internet!  Ha! I have found that Mary Kay's Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover will also remove smudges from black patent leather shoes, purses, etc. so they look pristene all the time!  Have a blessed day!

Oatmeal and baking soda makes a great facial mask, and leaves skin soft and pores small... and it cost pennies to do. Olive oil and brown sugar makes a great eye makeup remover. The best thing about these, is more than likely the ingredients are in your cupboards and you wont break out in a rash from chemicals.. Smile

Hi! This is not really beuty, but is hygine. If you have smelly gym shoes, flats, or even heels or pumps, de-stink them by doing this: sprinkle baking soda in them, let sit overnight, then shake out the soda and smell!

Also, to remove bubble-gum from your hair. Use peanut butter and work it through your hair. The peanut butter will wash out with regular shampoo!

Natural products are always beneficial for our health, because they are free from certain chemicals. Products which you have discussed here sounds interesting.
