Your songs have literally changed my walk with God. I have been a Christian not even a year and a half and it's been a struggle. But with your music and of course with K-LOVE, I am getting stronger and getting closer to God Smile I am so excited for the new album!!!

Thank you! Thank you! This thank you does come from me, however I know the ladies at the Recovery Center where I volunteer for Sunday service LOVE your songs. During our 2 hours together we praise God, sing encouraging lyrics and I teach a "wee bit" but mostly we spend time with the Lord. Your music is reaching behind bars, reaching to hearts that are bruised and brushing lyrics of life to the ladies hearts.
The song "He Is With You" is one of those songs... "And a time for no,There's a time to be angry,And a time to let it go,There's a time to run, And a time to face it, There's love to seek, In all of this,Through all of this."
Thank you. "Life. Love. Lord. Lyrics." You bring it to our services in East Texas! Did I say, "Thank you!"

FYI: Your "man" doesn't have to be into sports to be manly.  I know what you mean though.  I grew up around sports and always thought my man had to play and had to wear a baseball cap!  I've been married to the greatest man ever for 8 years now and he rarely watches sports (other than Univ. of Michigan football)...I know more about most sports that he does, and he looks terrible in a baseball cap, but he looks great with a hammer!  Smile  He is a very manly man, and even though he isn't what I thought I wanted, after 8 years, I couldn't ask for anything different! Smile  Also, there is nothing more manly than a man that loves God and loves you!

I was at a Women of Faith conference in Milwaukee, WI this last fall.  It was the first time they have been to our area.  I had no idea who was going to speak or sing at the conference so what a great surprise to see Mandisa there!  I was so blessed by her sharing her struggles with us as if we were just friends sitting around together chatting.  Her voice is fantastic and her energy abounding!  I texted my kids back at home teasing them that I was soooo cooool because I got to see Mandisa and they didn't! We love the song she did with Toby Mac so mom has one up on her kids!  Keep walking the walk girl and know that you are a great encouragement to all age groups. (we go from 8 to 50 in our house!)

I loved the conversation you guys just had about watching sports. My household is completely backward. I have the lineup for watching sports all day on Saturday and my husband wishes I would do something else. He just rolls his eyes at me but he is learning some of the sports terms he never knew before. I may turn him into a sports fan someday!!!

Not all men are big on sports. And a man can be attractive doing other things.
Mine loves to hunt and I can relate to that.
I think he is very attractive and tries to interact with the children(10 & 12) as much as possible, thats what makes it appealing to me.

Mandisa's song "He is with You" has been a real blessing to me.  I have sung it a couple of times at my church and it always touches someone's life.

Mandisa, your weight loss has really inspired me. I have been overweight all of my life, and this is the year that I really want to do something about it. Having examples like yours and the inspiration from Lysa Terkeurst and her book Made to Crave is going to help me do it. You have inspired me to seek God rather than food to fulfill me, and I'm sure the result will be a thinner me who is more in love with God than ever before.

Just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your music.  I truly love the song you did with Toby Mac but your song "It's only the world" is the song I turn to when I'm having a really bad day to lift me up and put my eyes back on Christ.  The day 3 yrs ago when I had to sign a DNR order for my mother who had dementia and was in congestive heart failure I came out of the nursing home with a heavy heart.  As I sat in the parking lot of the nursing home crying I turned on KLove and It's only the world was playing & it was just what I needed to get myself back on track & carry on.  I love the whole album and I really enjoy when your on KLove.  I'm a big fan.  Thanks.

I just heard the song Not Guilty for the first time in church this past Sunday. What a beautiful song!! I promptly downloaded and now it's one of the songs I listen to the most. Smile

I'm with you Mandisa about having a "manly" man. I dated a guy who was a football player and was very much into sports. Unfortunately, weekends consisted around the games, which wasn't much fun for me. Fortunately, it didn't bother him one bit I knew nothing about them. He taught me the little bit I now know. So no worries. You will fall in love with the man God created for you and he isn't going to care if you know anything about sports. He's going to be falling in love with your beautiful heart and passion for Jesus!! Smile Be blessed sister!!!

Hi Mandisa! I was blessed to be able to see you Decemeber 2009 at Women of Faith in Sacramento. You were awesome! You even signed your "Freedom" CD for me. I was so sad when someone took the case plus a bunch of other stuff out of my car. I still have the actual CD because of course it was in the CD player! I was the most upset about losing that signed case then anything else. I'd love it if you could send me another one. Last year was a very difficult year for me. My husband was killed in a car accident on September 16th, 2010. I'm still trying to pick up the pieces of my life. My grown step-kids will no longer speak to me. It's very painful. My 21 year old twin boys have been such a blessing. I love every song on your "freedom" CD and they too bring me comfort. Lord willing I will get to see you again in October in Sacramento at "Women of Faith" again. God Bless You! Hey Mandisa. I'm going to have to agree that you don't need to know anything about sports to get a man's interest. A keen intellect and a love of God are the best things in my book. Walk with God and be the woman that he wants you to be. That's all that matters.
Also, Scott didn't mention the Utah Jazz in his three teams that don't end in "S". Is my team the Utah Jazzes now or do you have a chance to out trivia him?

Mandisa, don't give up! I grew up with a wonderful, loving Dad who loves anything with a ball in it. I wanted a guy with other interests, and God gave me one! He's a musician and an artist, we've read many of the same books and have a similar background. If anybody watches sports in our house it's more likely to be me, especially since our son went to Texas Tech. My husband is very definitely a manly man. We've been married almost 37 years. How 'bout that!!!

Hi Mandisa,

I was fortunate to listen to your chat with Scott and Kelli today as you dicsussed about "finding the RIGHT(EOUS) MAN (interesting comments). I read your biography in wikipedia and loved your reply to Simeon's comments on forgiveness. I have the words from Pr.3V5 for you, and since I know you are already fulfilling the TRUSTING part, then my prayer is that God will perfect all that concerns you by exceeding your expectations and satisfying your desires(Ps 145v16). Amen!!!

You have been an inspiration and blessing to many through your ministry.

God bless your heart as you labor in His Vineyard.

Oh, what can I say about Mandisa? Whenever I hear her sing, listen to her talk (especially on KLOVE!), or read something that she writes, I feel as though I have just had a refreshing conversation with my best friend! I have never met her and I hope to go to one of her concerts in the future, but I'd just like to say: You go, girl! I am with you on the guy thing, the weight thing, everything! Too often, and even on KLOVE, we hear way too much about the love stories and we want to hear from someone going through our struggles too. I really feel (and I wish I could bold, underline, and italicize that!) when Mandisa sings, not only because of her God-given, amazing talent, but because the words speak to me of the struggle I am going through right now. She sings of the struggle and she sings of the victory to come. I hope I get to meet you sometime, girl! I have a feeling I'll love ya even more!

And I am all about the Snuggie - with fingerless gloves! Smile

I can't wait to see and hear you again at the "All Access" this week in Tenessee!!! With love, Cindy
