Dr. Meier talks about the tragedy in Japan

Dr. Paul Meier of the Meier Clinics joined us today to talk about the struggle that we face as Christians when we see tragedies like the devastation that hit Japan this week. How can God allow these things to happen? See what Dr. Meier had to say here: http://www.meierclinics.com/. Got a question for Dr. Meier? Feel free to share it here or email scottandkelli@klove.com.

And if you missed this important topic, please listen here

We as believer often consider and wonder why with God. He does things His way and always has. Just like with the events of Hurricane Katrina and the drawing together of the Christian community to eradicate some of the voodooism that took place in that part of the country, God has since the beginning of time used natural events to remove certain practices of paganism. The evangelic efforts which took place after Katrina will likely pale in comparison to the ones that will take place in Japan.

With all due respect, I have a little bit different understanding of "Why?" We still live in a very fallen world; the enemy runs a muck trying to kill, steal and destroy us. he has quite a long history of practice....I'm only 48 years old in comparison. So, sin, yes, does exist in abundance.....but sin HURTS, and it does affect innocent people. My heart fills with great compassion for those affected. I simply pray, "Lord, please take this mess and make something good of it, to Your Glory, and all those involved. In Jesus name, for it is only through Him we can come to you in a loving, close relationship." I don't have all the answers either, because I am not God. I do love how Dr. Meier said honestly, "We don't know." Blessing to you all,
Julie in MS
