I GOT THIS IN A RECENT E-MAIL.


Pam's Story
                                        
        In a recent email, I read about a woman named Pam, who knows the pain of considering abortion. More than 24 years ago, she and her husband Bob were serving as missionaries to the Philippines and praying for a fifth child. Pam contracted amoebic dysentery, an infection of the intestine caused by a parasite found in contaminated food or drink. She went into a coma and was treated with strong antibiotics before they discovered she was pregnant.

                                            
Doctors urged her to abort the baby for her own safety and told her that the medicines had caused irreversible damage to her baby. She refused the abortion and cited her Christian faith as the reason for her hope that her son would be born without the devastating disabilities physicians predicted. Pam said the doctors didn't think of it as a life, they thought of it as a mass of fetal tissue.


  While pregnant, Pam nearly lost their baby four times but refused to consider abortion. She recalled making a pledge to God with her husband: If you will give us a son, we'll name him Timothy and we'll make him a preacher.


   Pam ultimately spent the last two months of her pregnancy in bed and eventually gave birth to a healthy baby boy August 14, 1987. Pam's youngest son is indeed a preacher. He preaches in prisons, makes hospital visits, and serves with his father's ministry in the Philippines . He also plays football. Pam's son is Tim Tebow. (Bronco's quarterback)


The University of Florida 's star quarterback became the first sophomore in history to win college football's highest award, the Heisman Trophy. His current role as quarterback of the Denver Broncos has provided an incredible platform for Christian witness. As a result, he is being called The Mile-High Messiah.

Seriously! Don't listen to the music it's secular, so if you're doing the thirty day challenge, and watched this I'm sorry to tell you, but you just listened broke your commitment. I can't believe you Scott and Kelli.  

I was listening to you this afternoon when you were talking about all the press and media attention Tim Tebow is getting and how gracious he has been with this white hot spotlight on him. You went on to say he has been asked about it and he replys its his parents and the home life he grew up in, etc, etc. All of this does come in to play, his character, how his parents were/are in raising and setting an example to him, but no one said anything about how it is also how God, through the Holy Spirit is how he is the person he is. All of Tim's attention is to bring glory to God.

Just a question....The 30 day challenge really isn't a challenge for me because your station is pretty much the only station I listen to.  The problem I'm having is I listen and their are many times I am so mad at God, I just shut it off.  I mean literally push the button and don't listen. I'm just wondering if that's normal.  I'm beginning to think maybe I should not listen and totally remove myself for God.  I'm in so much emotional pain all the time and people tell me that God is right here with me but If he was I don't think he would let someone go through such pain.  It's been almost 5 years and I'm tired.  I listen to the people on the radio explaining their stories about how they listen and things get better, well it hasn't helped me.  Sometimes I just get mad.  I've been listening for years now. Maybe God doesn't want me.  I think I just need to turn away from him and try and live my life alone because even though I've given my life to him, I still feel alone.....

To Kathy, leaving God is what satan wants. If you leave God and go on your own, that is where you will be, on your own. God will be there but He will also let you fall until you let Him in. He wants you and He is here with you. He says He will never leave you or forsake you. Turn to Him and let Him take over, give it to Him and WAIT. He wants to lead your life, He has a plan for you and He is the only one who can keep His promises. Call KLOVE for prayer, God loves you very much. Lord bless you, give it to Him. You are not alone. Read Numbers 6:24-26, this is my prayer for you.
