Til' Death Do Us Part

Wynonna Judd's husband Cactus Moser loses leg after motorcycle crash. TODAY

Wynonna Judd's husband, Cactus Moser, will be dealing with the effects of his Aug. 18 motorcycle crash for the rest of his life. Judd's rep tells Us Weekly that Moser's left leg was "severed at the scene of the accident," and doctors at a Rapid City, S.D., hospital decided they would have to amputate the limb above the musician's knee.

Judd and Moser (real name: Michael Scott Moser) were riding separate motorcycles in Deadwood, S.D., on Saturday when Moser, 55, collided with an oncoming vehicle.

"The outpouring of prayer and support from friends, family and fans has been a blessing to both Cactus and I. Cactus is a champion," Judd told Us in a statement over the weekend. "I love him deeply and I will not leave his side."

Wish I had read this post and spent some time before the Super Bowl deciding ahead of time what to eat.  Blew three weeks of making really good food choices and seeking to obey God in those choices, for the thrill and excitement of having a "complete" Super Bowl experience including chips, guac, dip, chili and light beer. Today, not much better trying to get back on track.  Foolish to opt for the temporary instead of choosing the lasting, beneficial blessing of obedience. Temptation seems to always be subtle at first and "manageable".  Should have instead immersed myself in the reality of the short-lived temporal pleasure and sought to be obedient.  I know better....obedience, not party food bring true joy.
