Many people who get a lupus diagnosis stop setting goals, experts say, because they fear how debilitating the autoimmune disorder can be.

Scratch that when it comes to Shannon Boxx. She is shooting for her third straight Olympic gold medal.

Boxx, 35, will be running her legs off Wednesday as a midfielder for the U.S. women's soccer team in its opener against France in the 2012 London Olympics.
