Chuck

It all started back in the day with a random meeting at a Chuck E Cheese in Peoria, Illinois. I grew up dreaming of becoming a rock n’ roll star or a radio DJ, but when I decided to follow Jesus in my senior year in high school, I thought I had to give up this dream. As God would have it, I met the manager of a local radio station at the popular children’s restaurant in 1984, and so began my career in radio ministry.

After 10 years in Peoria, I moved to Champaign, Illinois where I managed a station until 2005. I then left for the great state of Texas! During my time at these two stations, I enjoyed being part of two award winning teams winning both small market and major market stations of the year awards respectively. I was also voted Major Market Program Director of the Year just prior to leaving Houston to join the K-LOVE team.

I have been happily married to my wife Jonnie-Kaye for 19 years. Aside from being on air, you can find me tooling around the country on my Harley-Davidson motorcycle or at home shining it up for my next ride.
