    Do you set your alarm for earlier than you need to get up?

    I do this all the time and the consensus from randomly asked doctors is...don't do it!!  

    Hitting the snooze button actually makes you feel more groggy. Why? Because after you wake up just enough to hit snooze, unless you plan on sleeping til noon, you won't have enough time to get back into deep sleep. 

    So the next time you tell set your alarm a half hour earlier and tell yourself all the fabulous things you're gonna do, actually GET UP when you hear the alarm!!  (I so wanted to say "GET ON UP" ala James Brown, but I refrained).
