Ali is less than one year old with a cleft palate. Being from Afghanistan, help for his condition is rare; but thanks to a CURE hospital in the country, he is able to have hope for a better life through surgery on February 28th. K-LOVE’s own Scott Smith will be there by Ali’s side in February through the surgery, and we’d appreciate your prayers for both of them. In addition to your prayers, you have a chance to send a blessing to the CURE kids in a different way.
Scott will be going to Afghanistan with a load of hand-knitted hats by listeners just like you. Scott himself has never knitted before, but began the hobby when he heard about CURE. With each hat that is sent to a CURE kid, a personal message is attached to encourage each child.
If you’d like to impact the life of a CURE kid by sending a hat or a message, visit www.cure.org/klove. All hats and messages must be postmarked by February 15th so that we have enough time to take them on our trip to Afghanistan. Thanks for getting involved to bless these children.
